Chapter One

The
doctor placed the baby in her arms. After all the pain and hardship, she
finally had a daughter. Finally she had a daughter to carry out the tradition
of the Dimension Key family. Seikai looked down at the baby in her arms. Rapyd.
That's what I'll call you. Rapyd. You will be the one. The chosen one to change
the course of Saiyan history. Seikai
heard footsteps coming in the room. She looked up.
"K-king
Vegeta! What an honor it is to have you in our presence!" Seikai
stammered.
"Our
presence? Oh I see. You finally have a daughter to carry on the family
heritage. Well I was recently bestowed with a brat also. A son, whom I named
Vegeta," King Vegeta said.
"Naturally,"
Seikai muttered under her breath. King Vegeta didn't notice.
"Well
talk to me if the kid becomes of any use to anyone," King Vegeta said,
walking out of the room.
Seikai sighed.
"Here,"
she said handing Rapyd to the doctor, "I need to get some rest." And
with that, she fell into a deep sleep.
A few
days after Seikai gave birth to Rapyd, she and her daughter went back to life
in the king's palace. The only reason they lived in the palace was because she
was a part of the Dimension Key Family and one female member of the family
holds the Dimension Key. The Dimension Key has the power to travel to different
dimensions. Since it could become very dangerous, only one person can use it.
And that is the one who holds the Dimension Key.
"As
soon as Rapyd is 13," Seikai thought, "She'll be able to receive the
necessary training to become the Possessor
of the Dimension Key."
Seikai flopped down on her gigantic king sized bed. There were two pillows on
the bed, but now Seikai was the only one who slept in it. Her mate had run out
on her soon after she had found out she was pregnant.
"Men
are bakas," thought Seikai, "They're not good for anything but
mating." She looked over at Rapyd, now sleeping in a baby bed by her bed.
"You're
gonna be a great warrior, Rapyd. Even better than the King's son. Ha! Vegeta!
Can't they think of anything else to name their sons? Just go on and name your
son after the planet you rule! Ha!" Seikai said to Rapyd. The baby stirred
in her sleep.
"Shh.
Rest now, my little Rapyd."
Rapyd's
tail twitched behind her as she watched Prince Vegeta spar with a big tall man.
She was now five, as was the prince.
"Rapyd,
come inside now!" her mother, Seikai, called. Rapyd walked back into her
mother's room.
"What
were you doing out on the balcony?" Seikai asked.
"I
was watching the prince spar," Rapyd replied.
"Why
don't you go out there and spar too?" said Seikai.
"Okay!" Rapyd said excitedly. She ran into
her room connected with her mother's and grabbed her armor out of a drawer. She
hurriedly threw the armor on and ran back into her mother's room.
"I'm
gonna go spar with Vegeta now mom!" Rapyd said eagerly, running towards
the balcony.
"Okay!"
her mom yelled back. Rapyd ran out on the balcony and jumped down to the
courtyard where Vegeta was sparring. She noticed two girls with dragon tails
standing together.
"Oh
well," Rapyd thought, "I can beat them too." She watched the end
of the match between Vegeta and the big man.
"Take
this, Nappa!" She heard Vegeta yell and then punch Nappa in the stomach.
Nappa fell to the ground.
"Ha!
Beat you again!" Vegeta boasted.
"Let
me take you on!" Rapyd said firmly, walking up to Vegeta.
"Sure.
Why not? I could use another win before lunch," Vegeta said.
"Ha.
Yaaaaaaa!" Rapyd screamed, powering up. Vegeta stood, watching.
"Take
this!" Rapyd yelled, punching Vegeta in the side of the face. He stood
there calmly, like nothing had happened.
"Grrrrr!!!
YHHAAA!!" Rapyd screamed,
launching a Ki blast at Vegeta. He dodged it, but just barely. Part of the
blast burnt his face and hair. You could see anger building up inside of Vegeta.
"RRR!!!
That's it no one messes up my hair and gets away with it!!" Vegeta yelled,
powering up. He ran towards Rapyd , kicking her. Rapyd clutched her stomach.
Vegeta laughed. Rapyd stood up.
"DIMENSION
KEY POWER!!" Rapyd screamed, launching a silvery blast at the prince. The
blast knocked Vegeta to the other end of the courtyard. Rapyd ran over to him.
"Hey
are you okay?" Rapyd asked, concerned.
"Yea,"
Vegeta said, almost nicely, pulling himself off the ground. Suddenly he was
back to his normal self.
"Next
time you won't beat me," he said crossly, walking out of the courtyard.
Rapyd walked back over to where her balcony was. The two girls with dragon
tails were standing there.
"Hey
good job," one said.
"Yeah,
its not often we see someone beat Vegeta," the other said and they both
walked off together. Rapyd shrugged them off and flew back up to her balcony.
"How'd
you do?" Seikai asked as Rapyd walked back in from the balcony.
"I
beat him," Rapyd said.
"Good
job. I knew you were better than him," Seikai said, smiling.
"Yea, sure," Rapyd said, walking into her room.
