"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SON’S ROOM!?" King Vegeta yelled at me, piercing the silence in the room. "I-I-I"- I was shoved by Vegeta, as he stepped in front of me. "I put her here, father" he arched a brow at the King. "That doesn’t explain it, Vegeta- why is she here!?" he demanded again. "I asked her to stay!" Vegeta snapped a growl back at his father as I tried to hide behind his short figure. "Preposterous! What witchcraft! I will NOT have my son pair up with such! GUARDS! SEIZE HER!" he pointed directly at me, and two huge Saiyan soldiers passed Vegeta and tugged me away from him. "NO! I didn’t DO ANYTHING! I’m NOT a witch!! LET ME GO!!!" I screamed, creating such a commotion down the hall as the dragged me away, King Vegeta staying to confront his son. I heard small murmurs, but some things were so painful, I could tell what he had said. "What’s wrong with you, boy!? Bringing such a mutant girl like that in here! Honestly, there are better women on this planet than you think! This isn’t your fault, she just tricked you" he grinned at his son and started after me as I was dragged backwards with my heels scuffing the floor. I saw Vegeta peer out of the frame of his door at me- his eyes cold. Then, I knew he meant what he said when he couldn’t guarantee that he’d rescue me from death again. Tears fell down my face- because I knew I was right when I thought about loving him, and Vegeta feeling the same way. He grew into such a faint speck, I could recognize him as the Prince, and soon I was dragged out from the shadows and in front of the King again as he prepared to sit at his thrown with me, shackled down on the floor once more.

"How DARE you trick my son like that! How long has such romantic behavior been going on!?" he yelled down at me, piercing what little silence was there. "Not long" I muttered under my cold breath. My eyebrows twitched, and my lips tightened firmly in such anger that kept me from feeling the way I had over the past two days. "Good- then I can at least end such a discriminating piece of garbage! You didn’t have a chance! I let you live so you could go HOME! Not stay here and try to make love to my son!" he bellowed, his red cape flailing with anger as his shoulders tossed about at his thrown. "How will you end it?" my voice sounded with a crackle at the floor. "Nothing too painful, my dear-just death" he seemed to pause, giving me time to absorb what he had told me. My head shot up and my eyes glassed over when seeing his smirk. I was blinded by murky tears that wouldn’t fall- tears I wished weren’t there. "And I have a full audience that will LOVE to see it!" he chuckled evilly. My lips quivered, but still tightened in anger. "The execution of the mutant princess takes place at dawn- tomorrow" he hissed, and stood at his court. "Take her away" he pointed towards his right for the guards to carry me away just before he sat- not wanting to lay eyes on me again. My heels scuffled across the carpet as they drug me away into the darkened shadows and into the numbing cold of a prison down below.

They threw me in a cage-type sell and left me with the keys hung on one of their belt-buckles. I slumped over in one of the mildew-crusty old damp corners and curled my knees up to my chest. "Love hurts" I managed to stammer before I burst into tears. "Maybe- I didn’t know him but a day, but he helped me escape the sorrow I found in Tenchi- he helped me cope with my loss by giving birth to another love" I managed to squeak through my many moans, full of tears. I supposed that I cried so hard, it put me to sleep for the rest of the day, and woke me in the evening when the dungeon-type doors opened for a split second and then silence fell over my damp head.

There was the patter of steps down the cold and wet stairs, and a dark figure showed up at the entrance to my cage-like sell. I shuffled up to my feet and walked weakly towards the rusted bars- it was a woman-Saiyan! I glared at her uneasily. In the silence that her and I both kept, she held up her hand, a piece of red fabric caught between her rickety fingernails. I gasped and snarled a bit when I saw the smirk on her face. "You stepped out of line- iguana girl" she smirked, tossing a stray lock of her ebon hair off her shoulder and dropping the bandanna to the floor- she squashed it under her Saiyan boot. I snarled and bore my teeth at her. "Oh- what a ferocious one YOU are!" she snickered lightly. "You should know you never mix with a female Saiyan and her fiancé" she snarled, curling her nose at me and going to turn her back on me. "WHAT!? FIANCE!?" I lashed out, my eyes growing big with jealousy and anger. "At least YOU didn’t get his carcass tossed in your face!" I writhed a snake-like snarl, my tail thrashing angrily about- having a sort of spasm. There was another tweak of the doors and the fast movement of Saiyan feet. "KOVAAAN!!!?" came a wheezy yell that echoed down towards my ears. I grinned a sly smirk and put a hand to my hip. She stared back at me. "What is, Vegeta- sweetie?" she tried to answer his angered cry innocently. The dim light pierced Vegeta’s shadow, but he was surprised at what he saw…

I had strangled "Kovan" with my hands stretched around her neck; I’d tugged her close to my sell and pressed her up against the rustic bars. "Couldn’t- have- come- at a- better- time!" I grunted. "Wh-what’s going on here!?" he arched a brow. "Oh- NOTHING!" I grunted once more, "I- have- EVERYTHING- under control!" I added. "Are you so sure!?" Kovan hissed and sunk her nails into my flesh. "GAAAGH!" I pulled back in pain, hitting up against the wet all, anger burning in my eyes. "Vegeta! She tried to KILL me!" Kovan approached Vegeta and tried to sound more innocent; Vegeta stared back at the darkened shadows behind her. "I was almost badly injured" she pouted, and that’s what set me off. I powered up- but my anger wasn’t just full of Ki blasts.

Scales masked my body and maximized my size, making my huge dragoness-skull hit against the mildew ceiling. My muzzle, fangs, and talons all sprouted as a dragon screeched howled through the hollow dungeon. My wings fluttered about rabidly, as my tail smacked against the decaying walls that fell at my sharpened feet. With the weight of my feet and arms, I burst through the sell and stepped over Kovan, my stomach gurgling with a fiery tone. She didn’t think to look behind her until I puffed a plume of fire at the wetted ceiling, making small sparks fall on her face and shoulders. She snapped her neck around, coming face-to-face with my bloodshed red eyes as I hunched down to her Saiyan-formed level. She shrieked, and nearly jumped on Vegeta in fear. But I pried her away from him with the snap of my jaws, and caught the shoulder of her Saiyan armor. Vegeta glared up at me, with sweat perspired over his face. I started to wink at him easily, and flare my nostrils at the small Kovan-girl hanging from one of my long fangs. There was a fiery gurgle leaping up my throat, and soon, I gulped Kovan down and extinguished her with a burp of fire- landing a smile on my dragoness muzzle. Vegeta crossed his arms and glared up at me. "Y’know- she wasn’t too bad!" he snickered. I stuck my muzzle under his chest and flared my nostrils at him, my large bloodshed red eyes narrowing in on him with a sense of fury on my tongue. "But- I-I-I- I guess not anymore! He heh" he responded with a sense of fear and a notion that said, ‘I take it back!’ I seemed to smile toothily and lick his face with my snaky beat-red serpentine- dragon tongue. "GEGH! That’s enough!" he grimaced, as the ground shook from the wagging of my massive tail.

I turned away, my wings shadowing my body as I felt my bones crackle, and my body shrink. Scales faded away as my tanned skin shown through. My wings were all that remained shadowed over me as I knelt on bare feet in the cold. My wings started to fold into my spine painfully, revealing my crouched self in tattered clothing. My boots had holes in them, and somehow, I had slipped them on my feet before my wings folded down. I arose with a stammer, my swollen and tired eyes focused on Vegeta. I staggered towards him and almost collapsed at his feet- if it wasn’t for the support of his stretched arms. "V-V-Vegeta" I wheezed tiredly. "What?" he looked down at me with a twist of his neck. "W-We n-need t-to g-get o-out o-of h-here" my voice started to face with much more tired than before. "I know" he snorted back, lifting me onto his arms fully, and looking up to the winding staircase. "V-Vegeta" I wheezed before he took precaution to escape after my voice had faded. "What?" he snapped back with a tweak of his neck. "D-Does t-this m-mean y-you r-really l-love m-me?" I asked weakly. He smirked and looked away- saying, "Wait and you’ll see" he grinned and started to run back up the stairs, my limp body jostling in his tight arms. He tried to creak open the door, but he knew that someone would see me with him. "We have to make a run for it" he hissed in the shadows, gently trying to put my feet back on the ground. I stood wobbly but nodded a limp nod back at him- followed by a sleepy grunt. "C’mon! Use the last of your energy to get out of here!" he grabbed my shoulders and looked straight into my sparkling eyes. I tried waking myself up as much as I could, and replied, "Right" as energized as I could. Vegeta snorted back at me and kicked the door open, jerking me by my arm and running off as quickly as he could- I did the same, for the sake of my life.

"WHAAAT!? SHE HAS ESCAPED!! SEIZE HER!! VEGETA!! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU’RE GOING!?" The king bellowed as we ran across the paved carpet, none of King Vegeta’s court, able to stop him. I ran faster Behind Vegeta, my tail swaggering on both sides, almost hitting each Saiyan in the royal court. "STOP!!!" King Vegeta yelled, standing and firing a Ki blast at my back. I was afraid, but nonetheless, I closed my eyes tight and lent my ears to the sound of the Ki flames hurling towards me. "VEGETAA!!" I managed to yell as it hit me- but I appeared unharmed at first. I looked behind me, to see all of my long and lanky locks of hazelnut-brown hair singed off the back of my head. I gasped at first, trying to run, still- but I was to occupied by the fact that King Vegeta had just cut my hair!

Vegeta kicked open the doors and ran out of the palace, my arm lagging faster than I was, with him. "Vegeta! Y-Your father just gave me a haircut!" I yelled out to him. "Lovely- now shut up, and let’s get to the spaceport" he powered up, his Ki glowing all around as he took off in the sky, I, forced to do the same thing. He let my arm go, speeding up faster than he was with me. I heeled at his side while we both flew towards the bleeding sky.

"B-But what about your home? What’ll you do?" I asked through the hum of the illuminated Ki-fire. "I can’t go back there- not if you’re around me. I was stupid to try and help you escape- but I guess, since I actually did, I’m going with you" he snorted, as if being around me wasn’t good enough. I glared back at him with a slight smirk. "I’m going home- the Galinians aren’t going to like you since your henchman killed Tenchi, though. If I tried to convince them, maybe MY father wouldn’t be so drastic as to kill YOU! But I can’t guarantee that I can save you from that" I crossed my arms, my smirk widening. "Whatever- I don’t need to be saved from anyone! And who said I’d ALWAYS stay with you!? I don’t care if your people don’t like me, anyway" he snorted, the distant droplets of the bleeding sun dancing a jig across his face.

My eyes spotted the small port I’d docked in, and instantly, I shot down at the blink of an eye towards my Saiyan- rogue type ship; Vegeta following. My feet touched the ground firmly, waiting for Vegeta to touch down next to me. I tethered such short ends of the hair that was left on my head and around my ears. I scowled and moaned- my lovely hair chopped to bits by a laser-Ki-disk! Vegeta touched down next to me, and peered over my shoulder. "What are you standing around for!? Let’s go" he snorted, closing his eyes and raising his chin at me. I glared back at him and snarled a bit, my tail smacking up against his ankle. "Watch it" I wheezed, turning my glassy gaze at my Saiyan-rogue pod. "I came in this, and I will leave in this" I pointed to it, my finger almost touching the shelled latch. "That’s a SAIYAN pod! How’d YOU get one of those!?" he peered over my shoulder once more. "No- it isn’t, Einstein! If you look closely, it’s a Galinian pod! It doesn’t have all those fancy buttons on the inside! Just a few coordinance tools. And- it comes with a pudding maker! But, mine wasn’t installed" I grinned, crossing my arms. "HMPH!" was his reaction to my explanation. "Oh! Prince Vegeta! What brings you here? And with this ALIEN!?" came the two non-Saiyan nimrods I’d run into when I had first landed here. Vegeta snorted and grinned at me with his arms crossed. "I’m leaving" he replied after the silence intensified. "WHAT!?" said the most silent one. "You heard him, little space boy! He’s LEAVING! So get him a SHIP!" I yelled, grabbing both of the two stout gnome-like aliens. I dropped them from my bawled fists, and watched the squirm into the darkness frantically.

"That wasn’t necessary" Vegeta sighed, as if I’d done the wrong thing. "I’d like to see you do better- better than standing there, just waiting for them to pick up on the reason you’re here" I frowned back at him, my arms crossed like his reflection. "Prince Vegeta! Here’s your ship, your highness!" they shouted from the shadows, a pod-shaped figured planted beside them. "Well, Vegeta- I’ll see you on Galina" I grinned, climbing in my pod. "How am I supposed to know where THAT is!?" he writhed at me before I closed the latch. I frowned, my eyebrows twitching. "LOOK HERE BUDDY BOY, IF YOUR HENCHMAN COULD FIND MY PLANET AND KILL TENCHI, THEN YOU CAN CERTIANLY FINMD IT YOURSELF! But for the most part, just follow me!" my complexion went from scarlet- in anger, to the perky shade of my skin tone- in semi happiness. Vegeta just blinked at me, as the latch closed and I smirked back at him.

Soon, both pods were launched, and the atmosphere was streaming behind our pods. I didn’t worry about Vegeta too much- I knew he just wanted to get away so he wouldn’t have to face all of the Saiyans in his father’s royal court.

The scarlet sky started to bleed away as the stars crushed the universe that I sped out into with Vegeta close behind me. I fell into a deep sleep when seeing all of the milky stars cloaked in the sky- a sleep that would last for about 2 days.

<< 2 Days later>>

My eyes were drowsy and swollen when I stretched and looked out of the plexi-glass at the milky stars of quietness and nothingness all around me. "Vegeta?" I spoke into the small intercom among the few controls I had. "What, woman?" he barked back with a sharp yawn. "I can just barely see my planet. We’ll be there shortly so, be ready" I semi-warned him. "Yeah whatever" he replied, logging off the small talk I’d had with him. "ARGH! You are SO impossible!" I said, not speaking into the intercom to tell him. I knew he’d just smile and lower his eyes at me. "Vegeta?" I beeped him in again. "WHAT!?" he roared back in agitation. "Have you- ever- been on a date?" I asked faintly, my stomach knotted and twisted inside me. "What!? How absurd! A DATE!?" his voice was sharp, echoing through the silence in my pod. "Not even with Kovan?" I blinked, anxious to see what he would say. He let out a heavy sigh and replied, "No- egh- NO! Saiyans don’t go on DATES!" he tried to get rid of such obnoxious socialization. "Well- then maybe, you should" my voice tried to stay calm when responding to his sharpened tone. "Why would I WANT to!? And what are you getting at!? This is so stupid!" he huffed and shoved the conversation. I drooped my head over one of my wilted hands and sighed. "Vegeta—you just don’t get it, do you?" I sighed to myself.

We entered the atmosphere with a rabid blow of fire surrounding both of our pods.

Soon, I collided into the molten-muddy ground with a huge thud and an uproar of smoke. I opened my latch and stumbled to my feet, coughing and wavering the smoke away from my squinty face. Vegeta’s pod crashed down next to mine with a rumble from deep inside underground. He didn’t emerge right away, but I saw how he quickly popped out and glared about with agitation. "Doctor Tae? Rayne? Hello?" I coughed, noticing that I’d landed in front of Doctor Tae’s lab- where I’d taken off. "Who are these people you’re calling, woman?" he asked, crouching u behind me. I snarled and turned around angrily. "WILL YOU BE QUIET, VEGETA!!!" I yelled, practically engulfing him down my throat with yells. He snarled a wheeze and then quieted. "Well, well, well- look who it is!" said someone from the shadows. I snarled, sweat gleaming over my face. A large dragon-man thudded into the light and snickered at me. "Turke… you big thug! Where is my sister and Doctor Tae!?" I spat. "Boys?" he arched a brow, letting Saygan and Armedais be revealed, crossing their scaly arms and smiling a bit. "Doc Tae and yer sis told us about yer lil trip ta th’ planet Vegeta, Ryver! I s this the lil souvenir yeh brought back fer us, girlie girl?" he said, sounding so much like a hill-billy to me.
