Born in Sydney, Gina studied at The MocDonald College and The Australian Ballet School, before joining the Australian Ballet in 2001. In 1998, Gina won a scholarship to travel to London to compete in the international Genee Awards.

Since joining the company, Gina has performed in Peggy van Praagh�s
Giselle, Stephen Baynes� Beyond Bach, George Balanchine�s Theme and Variations, Stephen Baynes Requiem, Natalie Weir�s Carmina Burana, Rudolf Nureyev�s Don Quixote and Stanton Welch�s The Sleeping Beauty.  Gina has also danced in Graeme Murphy's Swan Lake, performing roles such as the Young  Dutchess-to-be, which she says is one of her favourite roles. Gina has also toured internationally with the company.

2005 saw Gina star in the Australian premiere of
Sechs Tanze, part of the Jiri Kylian tribute programme, and also performed the leading role in Le Conservatoire in the La Sylphide programme.

In 2006, Gina preformed in
Gathering a collaboration between the Australian Ballet, and Bangarra Dance Theatre. In the world premiere season of Stephen Baynes' Raymonda, Gina danced the role of the cheeky Hollywood starlet. To end such a fantastic year, Gina won the prestuguous Telstra Ballet Dancer Awards, the highest accolade of its kind for young ballet dancers

Gina was promoted to Coryphee at the end of 2004, and Soloist in April 2007.
