The Elder
Cied Mile Failte! I have been on my pathway for the last ten years. I studied in the Celtic Witta tradition, which has a lot of influence on the Celtic Druids, the Fey, Traditional Witch, Herbal Witch & with Moon Magic. I became an Elder this year, 2005, and continue to grow on my journey. I was raised to believe that no matter what faith you have, which journey you walk down, We all Walk with the Ancient Ones, and we all have a Creator. My responsibilites as an Elder are to show those with an open mind the vast knowledge and traditions that this wonderful Craft has to offer. I have had four known Clans or Covens, and one day plan to start another. As for now, I am happy teaching my students, learning on my journey, and being involved in the Pagan Community.
The Mother
I am the mom of two wonderful children, and the future step-mom of a wonderful teenager. On this path, I have learned patience in ways I never knew was possible. Being on this journey has opened my eyes to the hardships that come with my journey, but it also taught me there are no excuses in life. You can achieve whatever you put your mind to. As a mother, I have learned that a gentle hand, but a firm voice help to keep order. This has also helped me as a Leader, Teacher, Mentor & Spiritual Advisor. While there are times to be gentle, you also need to remember you have a voice, and to stand up for what you believe in. Becoming a Priestess, which is the form of the Maiden, shows how a young lady goes through the journey and grows to become a Woman, who has the backbone, and strength to endevor hardships, wars, trials and triumphs. For all the Mothers out there, you're not alone, and together, we can rebuild one day at a time. We have Power, we have Intelligence, and we have the beauty of our Soul.
The Woman
From a song I truly adore, Even Godfearing Women get the Blues. It is a true statement. No matter how hard we try to be Superwoman, even we have our days of just sitting in bed, our hair a mess, our legs not shaved, no makeup, and wanting to scream. Each day is our own personal battle, which we fight courageously, and try to overcome. Just when we think the battle has been won, another phone call, another car pool, another Honey, I need you for something. It all can add wear and tear on our already worn out high heels. How do we get through it? Only Heaven above truly knows. Maybe we do it because we're supposed to. Maybe because thats just the way it is. However we get through it, we do. As a woman, I've learned one thing; A woman never knows how strong she truly is until she is in hot water. Get out those capes women, it's time to go to war. Remember, you have the Power to fight, and the Will to go forth. Why? Because we're Women, and we were made to be better in chaos than a man.
