Subj:[gilmoregirlsfanfiction] Rather Severe ch (1-4) more to come ^_^ From: sickslacker@bolt.com Rather Severe By Kat note: this is WIP, my ideas for this story may change day to day. My main focus is Jess because he is gorgeous. *grins* This fic begins when Tristian has already gone to military school. Chapter 1 Jesse He couldn't deny it. He liked her. He wouldn't say love at first sight. That would be too trite. He hated this place already. He really hated it. The many dots of disgusting perfection seemed like a cover for total torture. She looked innocent, like a little bird that was fed by its mother. She had been smoothed away from the flames. He had his share of flames. Her dusky dark eyes gave him a look he couldn't describe and he found it very compelling. Something new perhaps. Chapter 2 Dean He sat gingerly in trig. He was feeling insecure lately. I wasn't into the possessiveness portrayed in Romance Novels. However, Rory used to possess his attention and she didn't anymore. It was hard not seeing her at school everyday or having her eyes looking into his every evening. He could hear echoes of Rory's grandfather and knew that the indecisiveness he usually had needed to disappear. He would need to communicate to her something he could never ever say. Tomorrow it would be done. Chapter 3 Rory Rory brushed her hair and tried to smile. However she couldn't. School had become increasingly unpleasant to her and she could barely tolerate it anymore. The usual cliched complaints of teenagers in high school were not similar to her rants. To put it simply, to be basic in her thoughts, She was lonely. Her fellow masculine classmates leered at her. The girls were too busy discussing themselves to really notice her. It never really mattered to her to an extent. However, day after day it becomes an undesirable routine. "The bus will be visiting the mother of all homes soon!" her mom yelled as she completed the edges of her appearance for the day. Rory reluctantly trekked down the stairs. Not to hell, although it seemed like it from her perspective. She mounted the bus carefully. She also had this discreet fear of falling embarrassingly and with immense surprise. "Hi Rory" She turned her head with a great jolt and it was her boyfriend. In a strange way she was disappointed. He walked gently to spot beside and touched her carefully. He touched her like she was china. "Rory, there is something I am going to say." Dean's quiet voice spoke louder than usual. She looked out the window staring at the dying gardenias and sunflowers suffering from the soon onset of winter. Dean said what he had to say and it was done. It was over. She heard every single syllable. She heard every single word. Chapter 4 Jess Jess was bored. He debated fleeing his bland English class via the window. They were discussing the many joyful aspects of his least favorite over-rated Shakespeare tale. Well, that was his opinion. He thoughts traveled to Rory. Luke appeared to be awfully protective of her. He decided for the time being he would follow an old philosophy. You can look but you can't touch. He most definitely planned to look. End Chapter 4
