| It finally happened! Jeromie David Carr married Bobbie Jean Frost on March 10, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Foothills Chapel in Golden, Colorado! It was an intimate wedding, with only close family attending. Bobbie's Man of Honor was her friend and co-worker, David Goltry, and Jeromie's Best Man was his friend, Jim Dunn. After a short ceremony that Jeromie himself authored, the party moved to the luncheon reception at the Old Capitol Grill in downtown Golden, where the guests were served a marbled cake with Bavarian raspberry cream filling and buttercream icing. There were also candy bars and bottles of jellybeans personalized with the couple's names and the wedding date. From there, Jeromie and Bobbie left for an overnight excursion in a rented red 2000 Mercedes-Benz SLK convertible to the Ashley House Bed and Breakfast in the mountains above Evergreen (they stayed in the Evergreen Room). It was a snowy weekend, so the Mercedes' top stayed up most of the time, but it was a wonderful getaway anyway. The only mishap of the occasion was that the flowers never showed up, so they borrowed some artificial ones from the chapel. Are there any plans for a real honeymoon? Not right away, as the newlyweds are getting a house built and they need all the money they can get for that! . For more information on how Jeromie and Bobbie met, click this link.
