I work in a quasi-government organisation called the Competition Commission, where I manage a small Publishing department . I have been at the CC for 32 years now!
My favourite hobbies are local history and genealogy, building my family tree and those of three friends. I belong to the Society of Genealogists, Family History Societies and the Leyton & Leytonstone Historical Society, and if ever I get a free day I usually spend it at a record office!
On the odd occasions when I can tear myself away from my computer (usually while I am doing the ironing!), I like to watch archaeology programmes and whodunnits on the TV.
