Holly's Asian Dolls
Here are some of the Asian dolls in my collection. I love the grace and beauty of Asian costumes!!
This Yue-Sai WaWa Chinese bride doll is my most expensive purchase. She is a limited edition, and her outfit was hand-embroidered.
This is another Yue-Sai doll, Japanese Blossom. Yue-Sai dolls have such sweet faces. The company also produces playline dolls such as Dr. Yue-Sail
Princess of Japan has to be one of Mattel's most beautiful playline dolls! She looks lovely in modern clothes, too.
This is one of my latest Asian dolls. She is a Palm Beach Lea repainted by artist Debbie Martin and wearing a kimono outfit purchased by her previous owner, Dan Lee.
This Korean doll is made by Sonokong. She is wearing a traditional  hanbok of yellow linen.
ethnic Kirgiz costume (Kira)
ethnic Bonan costume (Princess of China) ethnic Manchu outfit (Pocahontas)
ethnic Tartar costume (Barbie)
These dolls are wearing ethnic Chinese costumes made by the Joy Workshop in China. The outfits also come with a booklet telling about the ethnic group they represent. It is a great way to learn about China's diversity.
