How does it work?
- the vinyl or other source will be recorded to computer.
- once stored there, it will be processed with professional software using custom presets to remove most clicks and pops and also will be edited to remove unwanted noise from turntable rumble and surface noise and hiss.
- the tracks will be separated and compiled onto a high quality CDR for your personal collection.
- the new recording will be listened to throughout to make sure there are no large clicks or pops or other errors in transfer.
- the album cover ( if applicable) can be printed out on a front jewel case insert as well as the track list on the rear. The new cdr also will contain a label with album info and year of origin.
- cdr package will be placed in a full size jewel case. Click here for some photos of my cds I have transferred.
How much does it Cost?
- $15.00 CDN per album depending on condition of source.
- $15.00 - 20.00 CDN for live concert LPs. Live tracks can be merged as one continuous loop if original recording has it. Tracks are then separated for cd playback and que.
-Very reasonable considering some other online conversion services who charge $25.00 US to $30.00 US plus a $10.00 US + fee for cleaning up of clicks, pops and hiss.
What do the cds sound like?
- Judge for yourself from an actual MP3 sample of a before and after recording from my own collection. Notice the clicks and crackle at the first of the track. (Right click and save file. You will need an MP3 player for playback.) You can click below to download one.

Please note - Original LPs should be in very good to excellent condition for best results.
- While every effort will be made to removve clicks, pops and noise it may not be possible to remove every item so that the original sound recording does not suffer.
