Hi, As you�ve probably noticed I haven�t made an entry for a little while, and I could use that statement to launch into a very smutty tirade, but I won�t. I�ve been a bit depressed. I�m not sure if I am going to continue to write the diary. I�m conflicted about it. For a start it seems that Yahoo is about to pull the plug on Geocities (later on this summer apparently) and as far as I can glean that means free websites or websites with a geocities plus plan that don�t upgrade to a new hosting plan will be deleted. Shane already thinks it�s madness for me to pay a monthly fee to air my witterings and I really can�t decide whether I want to commit to shelling out for another paid hosting plan. I really don�t like the way Yahoo has gone about this whole thing. It smells of blackmail�pay out or we�ll delete overnight all the hard work you�ve put in over years. I chose Geocities because it�s easy to use and I�m not sure what other options are out there that match it for ease of use. As things stand I don�t know if I have the enthusiasm to start up again.
