| WENTWORTH COUNTY & CITY OF HAMILTON 1841, April 7. On Tuesday, 25th ult. Robert Gillespie of Dundas, age 34, was accidentally shot while on a hunting excursion. He was a native of Westport, County Mayo, Ireland. For the last six years he worked in the shop of James Smith, tailor of Dundas. His mother and younger sister reside at Newport Pratt, County Mayo (Other record indicates death date of March 21) 1845 Fanny Gillespie died aged 52 yrs. Others in same plot.
