GILLESPIE, JUDITH HARRIET - Passed away peacefully, after a short illness, on January 15, 2002 at the Toronto East General Hospital, in her 63rd year. Judy, beloved sister of Lois and the late Bill McGrattan, and Laurie and Judy.  Cherished aunt of Michael and Margaret, Shaun and Paulina, Catherine and Brian, and great-aunt of Roland.  Judy will be fondly remembered by her many friends. Friends will be received at the Sherrin Funeral Home, 873 Kingston Road, Toronto (west of Victoria Park Ave) on Saturday, Jan 19th from 1:30 pm until time of memorial service at 2 pm. Donations in  memory of Judy may be made to the Toronto East General Hospital Foundation.

GILLESPIE, JACK STEPHENSON - At his home on Sunday, Jan 13, 2002 in his 82nd year. Jack Gillespie, beloved husband of Norah Gillespie, Brantford. Proud father of Bryan Gillespie and Heather, Port Dover; Andrew and Wendy Gillespie, Pickering. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Mark, Kirstin, and David. Dear brother of Marian Malliott and Velma Jean Gray of Woodstock. Jack Gillespie was a member and treasurer of St. Paul's Anglican Church, member and former treasurer of the Grand River Kiwanis Club, was treasurer with the P.U.C. for 32 years until his retirement, treasurer of the Cancer Society for 28 years, treasurer and past chairman of the Brantwood Residential Development Centre, member of the Board of Governors of Brantwood, and was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, Innerkip. He was paymaster of teh 56 Field Regiment, was a captain and served overseas in the R.C.A.F. Friends will be received at the McLeiseter Funeral Home, North Chapel, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Tuesday 2 - 4, 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Internment at the Innerkip Cemetery at a later date. If wished, memorial donations to St. Paul's Anglicatn Church or the Parkinson Foundation of Canada gratefully appreciated. GILLESPIE, PETER MERRITT (Pete) P.Eng.- Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Princess Margaret Hospital, Pete passed away June 30, 2002. Born September 14, 1922 in Toronto, Ontario. Retired partner of The MItchell Partnership (TMP). Beloved husband of the late Betty Gillespie. Pete recently returned to Toronto from his second homes in Vancouver and Qualicum Beach,  British Columbia. His unfailing strength, love, support and guidance will be greatly missed by his children:  Peter and his wife, Marg; Ted and his wife, Patty; Nancy, and her partner, Mark; and Edward.  A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, July 5, 2002, 1:30 pm at the Vaughan Estate of the Sunnybrook Heatlh Sciences Centre, 2075 Bayview Ave., Toronto. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service. The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers to the Palliative Care Unit of the Princesss Margaret Hospital or Pancreatic Research (Dr. Headley) of the Princess Margaret Hospital. GILLESPIE, GORDON - Passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 22nd, 2002. Gordon Gillespie of Victoria Harbour, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen M. Reid. Dear father of Sharon and her husband Allan Wilson of Tay Township, Ron Gillespie of Toronto, Sandra and her husband Ted Nichols of Victoria Harbour. Grandfather of Wendy and her husband Jeff Burnstead, Karen Wilson and her partner David Greene, Ashley, Brittni, Brienna Nichols.  Great grandfather of Madison and Brayden Burnstead. Brother of the late John and Horace Gillespie and Grace Webb. The family will receive friends at the Nicholls Funderal Home, 330 Midland Ave, Midland on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, then to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Victoria Harbour for visitation on Saturday from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 28th at 2:30 pm.  If desired, memorial donations to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Orilla's Soldier's Memorial Hospital, or the charity of your choice, would be appreciated.  (Source: The Toronto Star)

GILLESPIE, ANTHONY "Tony" born July 17, 1947. Died at his home in Citrus Heights, CA on February 3rd. He worked in the printing industry and was operating Sacramento Envelope at the time of his death. Tony is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Gillespie, two beautiful grandchildren, Cyndrey & Chandler, his loving girfriend, Gretchen Eischen, parents Gilbert Leo & Helen Gillespie, brothers Gibert (Margie), Ron (Mindy), William (Judy), Richard (Sue Stebbens), sisters Roseanne (Larry) Mulvony, Alice (Craig) Anderson, and many neices and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Feb 7th at the home of  Bill & Judy Gillespie, 6800 Mystery Creek Lane, Granite Bay.

GILLESPIE, DAVID LEE died suddenly January 11, 2002 while vacationing in Mazatlan, Mexico with his wife of 44 years, Darlene (Vevier). He was a member of al Katif Shrine Temple of Spokane, Washington, the Free & Accepted Masous, Okanogan Lodge #169, Scottish Rite & Wenatchee Lodge of Perfection.  Survivors include his wife, Darlene, 2 daughters Toni (Gillespie) and Tami Gillespie, his step mother, Martha Gillespie and six grandchildren.
He was predeaced in death by his mother, Clarice (Schrock) and his father Loris Austin Gillespie. A celebration of life was held Jan 19, 2002 with family & friends at Okanogan Eagles, Okanogan, Washington.
