To the memory of DUNCAN GILLESPIE, farmer, Kilnave, who died 18th day of April 1876 ae 92 yrs. His son JOHN died 22 Sept 1878 ae 38 yrs. His son ARCH, farmer, Kilnave. FLORA, daughter of ARCH died 5th of Oct 1876 ae 5 years & 5 months. Jane Brown, wife of ARCH, who died at Columkill; also their son ARCH, farmer Gigha, who died 10 Sept 1916 ae 54 years; also their son DUNCAN who died 18 July 1940 ae 70 yrs.
In memory of ARCH GILLESPIE Craig M.Hor, who died 15 January 1888 ae 75 yrs. Also his daughter CATHERINE who died 7 August 1874 ae 17 yrs. JANET who died April 1857 ae 1 year and 11 months. His son DONALD who died 26 Dec 1916 ae 65 years. His wife Ann McLellan died December 1921 ae 97 years. Their daughter MARGARET died August 1926 ae 74 years. His son ANGUS, who died Feb 1958 ae 79 yrs.
To the memory ALEXANDER GILLESPIE who died at Gruinart March 20, 1842 ae 62 yrs, erected by his daughter.
In loving memory James Brown, sub postmaster Gruinart died 12th June 1908 ae 80 yrs, and his wife MARY GILLESPIE died 29th Sept 1917 ae 85 yrs. Their son James died 4 July ae 70 yrs.
