FIRST POINT:

Six years ago, the imam of central Imamia mosque Gilgit (Shaheed Syed Aga Zia-Ud-din Rizvi) diverted the attention of the people towards an issue, that is the current curriculum being taught in the government institutions  which is against the ethical values of various sects should be changed, and a new curriculum should be introduced which should be accepted by all the sects of Pakistan. So to divert the attention towards this important issue all disputed material has been handed over to the government officials.

SECOND POINT:

The second point of the same demand states that "though it is not an easy work to change the curriculum at once. So, until and unless it is changed all the disputed material should not be taught in any institution where a single Shia student gets education".

CONSTITUTION OF PAKISTAN:

This demand is also not controversial to the constitution of Pakistan. instead the  Article 22-part (2) b supports this demand.

If any person claims that this demand is not valid or against the constitution or the current curriculum is right (that isi f what ever is given in the curriculum is according to Islam or is Islam) then make us understand that how is it right?? !

NO RESULTS:

Six  years have gone but the govt has been failed to solve the problem rather the govt is not serious in solving this problem. Many times Syed Aga Zia-Ud-din Rizvi the imam of central Imamia mosque has been called on for the meetings but the govt did not solved the problem. Federal Minister for the northern areas in a meeting had promised to solve the problem, but we do not know where his promise has gone!!!

THE PROBLEM OF THE WHOLE SHIA COMMUNITY

This problem is not associated with certain individuals or some people of a particular area rather it is the problem of the whole Shia community.

Getting late in solving this problem can be very dangerous for the peace of the region. This problem has now become a problem of life and death for the SHIA community.
