2006 Career Highlights
Missed the entire Major League season with right elbow problems that led to "Tommy John" surgery...Started the season on the disabled list with a sprained right elbow...Went on a rehabilitation assignment to Rome (A) on 5/13 and transferred to Richmond (AAA) on 5/19...Was recalled from his injury rehab on 5/30 and he was transferred to the 60-day disabled list when he underwent his season-ending surgery on 6/1. Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery in Birmingham...Hit a combined .379 (22-for-58) in his 15 rehabilitaion games with two home runs and 10 RBI.
