    Well I will be announcing that I wont be able to update this site daily or weekly. I will probably update when something big happens or I will update it once in two weeks. It was fun working, but ive moved on to more funner things than infantry aherm(paintballing)aherm... Yea well you all have fun playing Infantry. Laterz infantry playahs.

    Downtime-Sunday, May 19, 2002 - 11:34 pm | G~I~JOE

    As most of you who tried visiting yesterday, geocities was having a downtime to add some new features I believe. Well the good thing is that the website is back and up working. All infantry zones went down yesterday, that is what I heard from some players. Most players are saying "Why did I have to pay?" Most payers are planning to stop paying by next month because they are not liking the new updates. We will see what happens. Hopefully they will put Infantry free again :P.

    Update: I have added my Biography in the left side where the other pages are. It is a shortened biography of me :P. If you want to check how I came to play Infantry go ahead and read. Have fun.

    EOL Updates-Thursday, May 16, 2002 - 3:24 pm | G~I~JOE

    EOL has been updated. Here are the new updates from the zone news:
    I increased the resale price of a lot of gadget and field items.
    Sciops can no longer cloak. SciopS Energy pool raised to 650.
    Decreased drop percentage for all sensors. Exo Skeleton can no longer be dropped.
    Increased HoverBoard's reverse accelleration, increased bounce percentage. Increased DeathBoard's reverse accelleration, increased bounce percentage.
    Dual projectile weapons are changed. Instead of one of the pair of shots dissapearing on contact, both explode.
    You now have to select the player to be healed with Medikits.
    Added New Item: Phased Sensor Array Added New Item: Superior Combat Sensorium Added New Weapon: FusionCorp IRL909 Infrared Laser Added New Weapon: Particle Accelerator (EZ) Added New Item: Demolition Charge. Pesky Walls.
    These are the updates as of now. Be waiting for more updates next Wednesday.

    More Updates came to EOL after the servers were recycled. Here are more of the updates:
    Gave meds and Biochems a personal aid kit till an issue with medikits are worked out
    Increased energy usage per shot for IRL909

    Not Much-Wednesday, May 15, 2002 - 10:00 pm | G~I~JOE

    Not much has been going on lately, but me getting ready for finals. School almost being over in about 1 week and a half. I will probably be working somewhere and make some $$. I will probably start paintballing. Well most of you probably dont care... I Know :). Well I will keep you updated about infantry as soon as more things get updated. Hope you come back.

    More downloads keep falling like flies almost every day. In BoKR strafe speed was increased. In No Mans Land the settings from BoKR were updated to it, to be able to wear a banner you have to have 10,000 exp. points(Used to be 100,000). Death penalty was decreased from 15 to 10 seconds. In SAOD they increased the strafe speed. Banner exp. needed was changed to 10,000. You can spawn in an owned flag now when you die. Flag Rewards were increased a little bit. Those are all the updates for now. Keep checking back for more news.

    Infantry will be probably getting updated every wednesday. Most of the zones are being updated with the same settings as BoKR. Im thinking that the next zone will probably be HardCorps. Well we will see what will get updated on wednesday or maybe sooner.

    Skirmish at Outpost Delta has been updated. It got updated with the same settings as BoKR. For those who know how BoKR is like right now, well that is how Skirmish as Outpost Delta is right now. Same classes and you need experience for a class. Well I will keep you updated more as it comes.

    Yankee had something to say in the Infantry Forums. Here is what he said:
    Hey guys!
    Just wanted to drop a quick update on where we are at.
    Atributes were added to Eol finally. Some people are already taking advantage of using them. I am in the process of sorting out which new classes to add first. I am also working on updating the eol map. It needs to be larger and I want to add a walled in "town" area, sort of a barricaded safe area the non affiliated civilians have created. I am also making the base at a1 into the "Collective compound". Collective Military team players will spawn in there when they die. There will be a compound for the Titan Militia as well. I am also working on more monsters and ambient sound effects for the map to add more immersion into the world.
    One thing I am thinking of doing is designating an "Update Day" for eol. Possibly every wednesday will be this date. Any new updates and major additions will happen on those days. That way ppl will know when to expect things. Of course, this does not include bug fixes or just addressing an issue I happen to notice. However, it is better to have planned disruptions of the game.
    In BoKR we are testing out a neat variant to the flag game. When you die, you spawn nearby a flag your team owns. There are some limits to this, but overall it has changed the play style a lot. It keeps players near the flags and keeps them in the action.
    Also, the Unified skirmish settings that are being used in BoKR will be migrating to all skirmish zones in the near future, so be prepared.
    I am going to be testing a new map in HC pretty soon as well, possibly Saturday. It is the "LZ Assault" map. One team starts at one end of the map in one of 3 lAnding Ships. At the other end of the map is a fortified hillside. The attacking team must take 2 flags at the top of the hill. The defending team must stop them, and do it with half the team size. Carnage.
    I will be releasing some screenshots of the upcoming "Strike Fighter" that I am modelling right now. Keep your eyes open for that.
    Anyway, just some tidbits while you wait for new things to show up. Things are moving forward.

    Yet more Updates-Wednesday, May 8, 2002 - 3:29 pm | G~I~JOE

    More updates have been made for BoKR. Here is what got updated:
    Leader Summon and Leader Teleport now take energy to use, like medikit.
    Commanders are equipped with Enercells.
    Sergeants get a Chain Sword for their melee weapon.
    Fusion Rifle now does some armour damage.
    *experience command added to private arena ownership commands.

    BoKR Updates-Monday, May 6, 2002 - 4:05 pm | G~I~JOE

    There has been alot of updates in "Battle of Kliest's Ridge". First of all alot of new classes have been made. Here are the different Categories:
    Commanders- Sargeant, Squad Leader
    Elites- Elite, Marine, Sniper
    Grunts- Grenadier, Infantry, Medic
    Veterans- Driver, Light Machine Gunner, Ripper Gunner, Sapper
    It is kind of like "Chaos in EOL" in a way that you have to gain experience to be able to play a better class. Another update is that the ammo is different. Third update is that when a player dies they drop Laws and Grenades. New icons for the ammo and New names for the ammo. Those are changes that have happend today. I will keep you updated more as it comes.

    Update: Later on Yankee announced that he will update the color of ammo to a lighter color since some of them were hard to see.

    "Battle of Kliest's Ridget" went down today. It has currently come back up. Small Unit Tactics is still down at the moment. Ill update you about this when I found out what was going on. Ill also be trying to learn how to make games with a new program that I just downloaded today. Hopefully ill learn and make a game.

    6 Teams in EOL-Friday, May 3, 2002 - 7:34 pm | G~I~JOE

    Yankee has made a statement about the 6 teams in Chaos in EOL. Here is what he said in the Infantry Forums:
    I am testing the teams sizes to see what is still fun and what is simply overwhelming. This is not permanent. I need to start trying to balance out the zone between the ppl who want to just hunt in a group and solo players. I also have to factor in the civ classes which will have things to do that dont focus on kills.
    One thing I am going to do in the near future is remove suit teleport. And when other parts of the game are in, Dropship recall. I will add purchaseable replacements for these functions. What I hope to accomplish to make team coordination more important.. This will also make knowing the player behind the keyboard a bit better. This will lead to more interaction.
    I also think removing tele as standard will allow me to raise teams back up. I also hope it will lead to more private teams being created. This in turn, I hope, will lead to teams of ppl playing to a theme or purpose, be it hunt hive spiders, or mine rare minerals, or take something from one town area to another.
    As I said before, Eol is about to break away from CTF style zones entirely. Gameplay is alredy pretty different, and this difference is going to really grow.

    Downtime-Thursday, May 2, 2002 - 4:57 pm | G~I~JOE

    Geocities will be expiriencing downtime and no visitors will be able to visit the site. Here is what Geocities said today "GeoCities will be performing scheduled maintenance starting Friday, May 17th, 2002 at 9:00 pm PST (GMT-7). Service will be restored the morning of Sunday, May 19th, 2002." As you can see the site will be down until Sunday, May 19th, 2002. That is in about 2 weeks. If you try to visit it and it doesnt work that is the problem.

    A day after Pay 2 Play has passed by. All has been going good with about 25% people paying and 75% people not paying. I myself am not paying. I have moved the March and April news to the News archive page. If you want to check it out its ready. Well back to the infantry news. The spiders have been added to EOL. Go check them out, they are usually at C5.
