Love is gone

Two glasses of wine;
On an empty table;
It's yours and mine .
Two cigarettes in an ashtray;
It's yours and mine .

I'm looking at the smoke;
And wondering where our love has gone !
We don't talk, we don't fight;
Just breathing in this cold night

Complete silence surrounds us;
No more warmth in our hearts;
We are just gazing at the sea;
which is embracing the sky;
I wish it was the same with you and I.

  This sea that once felt our love .
When we made vows never to stay apart.
I feel it now laughing at us;
As if it's telling me;
"Wake up it's the end and not the start".

   Was our love evaporated ?
I feel like screaming and frustrated;
But everything has an end;
No need for tears that won't help nor mend
