I personaly think they have guts to be away from their family in a ship or a submarine for so long, but all branches do leave their families. I just think they are gone in longer extended leaves, but I am not sure of that!
I do feel for the navy men though, because one of there uniforms I just feel like going up to them and pinching their cheeks.
