| This picture is looking down Monaghan Street, you can see on the right what changes have been made. Destiny's night club on the right used to be the Savoy (Newry Cinema). I have been to the savoy only two times in my life and I lived in Newry for the first 19 years of my life, the first time was when my Aunt Mary took me to see E.T.. The second time was when I had brought my girlfriend at the time (Donna Hughes) to watch a film, mind you I don't even remember what the film was (anyone know her ?) |
