Deep and Meaningful thoughts

WARNING: THE FOLLOWING THOUGHTS ARE VERY DEEP AND MEANINGFUL. IF YOU ARE NOT VERY CLEVER, OR AT THE VERY LEAST, HIGHLY PHILOSOPHICAL, THEN THIS PAGE IS NOT FOR YOU.

Now, time travel. This is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. I'm sorry, but it really is. Even if you had an actual working time machine (again, not gonna happen) it is still awfully paradoxical.I am terrible at articulating what i'm talking about, so i will give you some
very simple examples.
1)Say, for some bizarre and disturbing reason, you decided to kill your grandfather, ao that you wouldn't be born (by the way, i'm not speaking from experience or some bizarre desire to kill my relatives). You jump into your amazing time machine and travel back to 1924 or whatever, and poison your poor baby grandfather. According to Hollywood, you would either cease to exist or travel bakcto your lovely life. Depending on your thoughts on fate/reincarnation etc you might be born into another family or life.
HOWEVER
With your grandfather dead, you could not be born (obviously). BUT. If he is dead, you would not be around to go back in time and kill him, so he would still be alive and you would still be born, then go back and kill him, he would be dead, you would not kill him, etc.etc.etc. forever. This is a paradox. Cool, innit?!

The trillion theory
I have always wondered if there is a trillion pounds in the world. I think NOT. There are bound to be a trillion lire (spastic italian money)in the world, as 1000 lire is about 3. Even if you added up all the money in the worl, it STILL wouldn't work, even with America, which grosses something like 400 billion a year, or something obcene like that. So basically, no.

N.B. The above was written about two years ago, and i will happily admit that it is, in fact, ahem, wrong. America probably makes 3 trillion plus a year on it's own. So yes.
