The Call
��I like the intro with the phone call and how it sets up the premise of the song. It didn't catch my attention at first, but after a few listens, it's a cool song. I also heard it's going to be a single, which will be cool cause the video will be interesting.
��*L* When I first heard the intro (the phone ringing) I jumped *S* Don't know what I was expecting from this newest cd... but a phone ringing definitely wasn't! However, after a few listens... I'm definitely very into this song. I love the beat, and I cannot wait to see what they're gonna do for their new vid!
Shape Of My Heart
��When Shann first told me about this song when it first came out on radio, I laughed. The title just sounds funny and its hard to picture a valid song with any substance having a title like that. And it does mirror "All I Have to Give" in a lot of ways, but I really like the song. I just like the melody and the.....simplicity of it. Its just a nice song.
��Like Summer, I laughed at the title. Come on! What do you think of when you hear that?? It was... pathetic. But now... now that it's got the whole song and video behind it it's actually pretty cool :) I admit that!
Get Another Boyfriend
��Ok, I think this may be my second favorite song on the album. Seriously. There is just something about it that I love. It's definitely a 'BSB' song. Its very dance-able and has alot of attitude. My favorite part is the chorus- He's just another player, playing in the name of love...
��YES! I love this song. The beat is so cool, and you just can't help but get very... hmm... into this song. You get the aggravation going and attitude pumping. Bitchin' chorus!! *L*
Shining Star
��This song just doesn't work for me. I usually skip it when I'm listening to the CD. The whole disco thing kills it for me. I think if it would have been a ballad, it would have been perfect. But it does get points for being written by Howie and Nick.
��This shows that Summer and I don't always agree (yes, we are different!) I actually am really into this song. I don't know why yet... but *S* to me it's great. Though I think Summer WAS right however when she said it would have made perfect ballad. I still think it's great though! Definitely a dance song.
I Promise You (With Everything I Am)
��The lyrics are typical boy band ballad lyrics, but none the less, its a sweet song.
��Yes, completely sweet song and my fav. part is most definitely, Nick's part how do you prove the sky is blue, the ocean's wide *shrugs* Just goes to show, sometimes you can't put feelings into words.
Answer To Our Life
��The guys wrote this song, and I think its a good start. It shows they CAN write their own stuff and do it fairly well.
��I REALLY like this song and I REALLY want this to be a video of theirs. To me it'd be cool to see them all coupled up, (Kinda like the "I'll Never Break Your Heart" vid,) and just have them set up in New York City and going out on the streets and looking at life and what it means to stay together....
Everyone
��Ok, you either love this song, or you hate it. There really is no middle ground. I love it. It's very reminiscent of "Everybody" in the fact, it gets stuck in your head for days, and you KNOW they are going to do a major dance number for it. But it is a nice tribute to the fans who have stuck by them. It's very simple and straight forward.
��Sequal to "Larger Than Life" and I bet they'll probably play this song first on their tour (which I'll most likely be missing :( Better come out with a tour vid! Again, this is a really great song. I feel this one expanded more into how they felt about fans and fame than what "Larger Than Life" did. *L* And they didn't write this one..... how ironic ;)
More Than That
��This is another one, for some reason, I just didn't connect with. The lyrics are wonderful and its a nice song, but not my favorite.
��This is the first song I put on repeat! I can totally connect with this song. And not because of some boy either. But I personally, find it very difficult to believe someone. And it does feel like they always take back their words. And I guess, I still harbor that secret (tiny miniscule hope) that someone will indeed love me more than that!
Time
��A lot of people don't like this song. I do. I've heard alot of people telling what they thought this song is about. I personally think it's about the guys looking back over the past...8 years and how far they have come and how they got to where they are. I think its a nice song. Very nice set up for a video. Babyface did an awesome job of producing it also.
��VERY VERY beautiful song. And I agree with Summer, it sounds like their recapping their past, but still looking forward to their future(s) together and seperately. Defititely video worthy!
Not For Me
��The only part of this song I like is the no no uhuh part. :)
��Love it just because I'm cynical enough to believe that love is not for me, baby, no no uh uh. But it is another dance song, and very video worthy.
Yes, I Will
��Rumors are, this is the song Brian sang to Leighanne at their wedding. Quite fitting. It is defnitly a wedding song. It seems very personal and heartfelt. Great love song.
��Actually, I fell for this song the second-third time I heard it. But I keep thinking that a female should join them when they sing the chorus... I dunno, to me it just fits.
It's True
��Another typical boyband love song.
��Kevin did an amazing job writing this. I bought one of those Burger King cd's, and had this song on repeat for days. Great ballad (evidently Kevin either screwed up sometime, or is just a romantic *shrugs* he could be both I don't know!)
How Did I Fall In Love With You
��This is my favorite song on the album. No doubt. I think it would have been better if it would have been a duet with
Brian/Howie and a female singer, but it still works. I think that everyone can relate to this song, or has been in that situation. I really hope it is released as a single.
��*S* Same as Summer, this is my favorite song. Plays out so beautifully, that the first time I heard it I was like "woah... wow" It definitely surprised me... and written by Howie "Sweet D" which shouldn't have surprised me! I would definitely have this as a single. Just to be totally out on it's own, and I really hope I get to see this one live.
