  Here are the notes to the session that I gave on Sunday. They are basically a condensed version of Prof. Kirkby's lectures. Watch out for the typo on this page. It says that the work equation for adiabatic expansion is W = nRTln(Vi/Vf). That's not true. That's the work for an isothermal process. Review the concepts brought up in my notes should prepare you well for the test.
