PUMPKIN BREAD
- 3 Cups Bisquick
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
Layer the ingredients in the order given into a wide mouth 1-quart canning jar. Pack each layer in place before adding the next ingredient. Attach a gift tag with the mixing and baking directions.
COOKING DIRECTIONS:
- 1 jar Pumpkin Bread Mix
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 (16 oz) can solid pack pumpkin
- 1 Cup chopped nuts
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the Pumpkin Bread mix with the pumpkin, eggs and nuts. Stir until the mixture is blended. Spoon the batter into either a large greased loaf pan or 2 small greased loaf pans. Bake one large loaf for 1 hour or 2 small loaves for 45 minutes Cool in the pan on a wire rack before removing.
