| STAR WARS EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE -( MARTIAL ARTS ) The tale of Jedi Knights who are the defenders of the Republic and who are taught in many ways as traditional Martial Artists and Warriors. Here a dispute erupts into an invasion and Jedi Master Qui Gonn Jin and his apprentice Obi Wan Kenobi are sent to investegate. On the way they find young Anakin Skywalker who has great Force potential and is possibly the one the prophecies spoke of who will bring balance to the Force. And what they find are that long dead enemies are alive and plotting against the republic... enemies known as The Dark Lords of Sith. Granted that Star Wars isn't a movie one thinks of in terms of Martial Arts. But the last fight sequence you get to see is great. Great Japanese staff work by Ray Park ( Darth Maul ). The Jedi culture is a great showing of what warriors should be like: A code of honor, balanced and humble with great Martial skill to help others. STAR WARS EPISODE II: ATTACK OF THE CLONES -( MARTIAL ARTS ) Ten years after Episode I, Padm Amidala (Natalie Portman), now a senator, resists the creation of a Republic Army to combat an evil separatist movement. The brooding Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) is resentful of his stern Jedi mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor), tormented by personal loss, and showing his emerging "dark side" while protecting his new love, Amidala, from would-be assassins. Youthful romance and solemn portent foreshadow the events of the original Star Wars as Count Dooku (a.k.a. Darth Tyranus, played by Christopher Lee) forges an alliance with the Dark Lord of the Sith. Also great fight scenes show casing more wide variety of fencing styles. STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH - (MARTIAL ARTS) NOT YET RELEASED!! Two years after Attack of the Clones, Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala are married, The Republic is at war with Count Dooku's Confederacy of Independent Systems, and Darth Sidious is preparing to make the final move that will ensure him control of the galaxy. With it's nearly endless supply of clone soldiers, the Republic is gaining ground against the Confederacy. Determined to avoid defeat, Dooku places a bounty on the Jedi Knights, who have already come under fire from the Republic itself. When Anakin turns to the Dark Side of the Force and joins the genocidal purge, Obi-Wan Kenobi must fight to protect Padme and her children as he heads toward a tragic showdown with his former pupil. Great lighsaber fight scenes confirmed. STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE-( MARTIAL ARTS ) Years later...the Jedi are now extinct and the Empire now rules by the hand of Palpatine. Hope lies now not in the failed Prophecy of Anakin Skywalker but in that of another. Luke. Shown the truth that his father was once a Jedi he embarks on a path to learn of the Force and become a Jedi Knight with the help of aging Obi wan Kenobi. Probably the worst as far as fight scenes go in Star Wars. The fencing is poor and done by inexperianced hands but is a great movie over all. STAR WARS EPISODE V: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK -( MARTIAL ARTS ) Gone is the jaunty swashbuckling of the first film; the rebellion led by Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) suffers before the superior forces of the Empire, young hero Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) faces his first defeats as he attempts to harness the Force under the tutelage of Jedi master Yoda (voiced by Frank Oz), and cocky Han Solo (Harrison Ford) is betrayed by former ally Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams). In the tradition of the great serials, this film is left with a hefty cliffhanger. Luke faces the black-clad villain Darth Vader (David Prowse, voice of James Earl Jones) in a futuristic sword fight and learns the secret of his Jedi father. Great fencing scene in this one. STAR WARS EPISODE VI: RETURN OF THE JEDI-( MARTIAL ARTS ) The high-energy, special-effects-laden conclusion to George Lucas's ambitious Star Wars trilogy delivers the final confrontation between Luke Skywalker (a more confident and mature Mark Hamill) and his nemesis-father, Darth Vader, as the rebel alliance makes its last stand against the evil Empire. The film opens with an impressive set piece in the cave of the monstrous Jabba the Hut, who holds both Han Solo and Princess Leia for his decadent pleasure until Skywalker comes to the rescue. The final battle pits an enormous armada of rebel ships against the rebuilt Death Star, the planet-killing weapon of the Episode IV, while guerrilla forces battle Empire soldiers on the planet below with the help of a cuddly army of pint-sized, teddy-bear-like creatures known as Ewoks (Lucas's one concession to merchandising) and Skywalker confronts Vader and the emperor on the Deathstar. Thus bringing Vader back to the Light side of the Force ( Return of the Jedi ) and killing the emperor ending the line of the Sith Lords...and so fulfilling the prophecy that Anakin was to complete: bringing balance to the force. Great ending and great Fencing scene. INVINCIBLE KUNG FU BROTHERS- ( KUNG FU THEATER ) SHAW BROTHERS -The movie pits the manchus against the chinese fighters. The manchus join forces with the Wutang to eliminate the Chinese fighters. When a teacher is killed the sons ban together to learn kungfu from there mother and one of the sons takes a series of special baths to make him invincible. Now they ready for anything.
