The stairs led up to (or down from) a large in-ground pool from an old estate just North of the intersection of Jericho Tpk and Robbins Lane. A housing development now covers the site.
Located between Teddy Roosevelt and Beekman beaches in Oyster Bay. There always seemed to be a tugboat in dry-dock there. This area has been renovated but few buildings from the shipyard remain..
