There is a bible passage that reads "I will offer the fruit(peri) of my lips," which some people read as "I will offer the bulls(parim) from my lips." Some people believe it means that prayer replaces sacrifice. But often prayers were given as the sacrifice was being made, and the passage in question is not from the law, but from the prophets, and it's silly to think that such an important law would be thrown out due to one interpretation of a vague passage in the book of the prophets.
