My Philosphy of Education
As a teacher, I have a great deal of responsibility to you and your children.  I take this responsibility very seriously.  Every child that comes to school has the right to the best education possible.  I will work very diligently to make this happen.  I will provide a nonthreatening safe environment that is conducive to learning.  Every student is important to me and I will try to account for their different learning styles, abilities, and personalitites in the teaching strategies that I use.  I will stay attuned to the needs of my students and do my best to provide what is needed from day to day.  I believe that the time a student spends at school should be meaningful and enjoyable, and I will work toward making it so.  I know my subject area well but I will continue to strive to do better, to find something better for the students, to discover something they will enjoy more, or to try a new method with them.  Our young people deserve the best, and I will try to give them just that.
