Gia's Page - Fletching/Bowyering

Fletching is the art of making arrows, and bowyering is the art of making the bows which use the arrows. Both skills are done in a Fletching Kit.

Any character in the game may practice Fletching/Bowyering, however only Rangers, Warriors, Paladins, Shadow Knights and Rogues can use the bows and arrows created.

The first thing you must do is obtain a Fletching Kit. You should be able to get one at most fletching vendors. There are fletching vendors throughout Norrath. (For exact locations, including some locs, see link below)

To create arrows, combine 1 Point, 1 Shaft, 1 Fletch and 1 Nock in your Fletching Kit. If you succeed you will get a stack of 5 arrows, if you fail you get nothing :-(

To create bows, combine at least 1 Staff and 1 String in the Fletching Kit.
Optionally you can also include 1 tool and up to 2 Cams for different effects on the higher skill bows. I don't suggest including these components until your skill level is higher. Once again if you succeed you will get a bow, if not you get nothing :-(

To get to the "Arrow Component Vendors" click on the "Increasing Your Fletching Skill" Quick Link and then scroll up a little and you're there.

To get to the "Bow Component Vendors" click on the "Arrows" Quick Link and then scroll up a little and you're there.
