Here is my Music page. Aside from the main bands featured here, some other bands/musicians that I like are...

The Eagles The Eagles are, in my opinion, the 2nd greatest group of talented musicians (behind the Beatles) to ever get together and kick out the beats. Comprised of such rock legends as Don Henley and Joe Walsh, the Eagles combined smooth, sweet-sounding vocals with a layed-back, easy-listening style of music. They created great music with a mix of Rock, Country, Folk, and even some Disco rythms. Songs such as Lyin'Eyes, PeacefulEasyFeeling, InTheCity, and Desperado are great examples of their soothing vocals, while more up-beat songs such as LifeInTheFastLane and VictimOfLove demonstrate their capability to rock out hardcore style. Just to give you an idea of this band's greatness, their biggest hit, HotelCalifornia,  was left off of their greatest hits album, which is STILL currently the best-selling album of ALL TIME. Or something.
The Beatles
What can you say about the Beatles? They had about a million #1 hits in about a million different countries.  They were just the first to do it, and the best to do it. By 'it' i refer to the strange thing we call "Rock&Roll". The Beatles weren't really that cool in their younger days. they made some pretty weak songs, like Love me Do, and other repetitive love songs like that. But they were also driven really hard by their shitty record label. In the late 60's they really kicked some ass though, with the release of the White Album, Abbey Road, and Let it Be. these 3 albums are all just packed with crazy-good hits, like nobody's biznass. Then they all had great solo careers too. (Except Ringo. but he's still cool.)
Jimmy Buffett
Jimmy Buffett is by far the coolest cat this side of the Prime Meridian. He really has his priorities straight in life. His concerts are free, and he doesn't live lavishly like some king. He has small homes on various Carribean islands, and his concerts are all totally FREE now, but he only performs in the Carib. He sits around all day drinkin martinis and daqueries and stuff like that while livin quietly in a hammock on a sandy beach. He probably has parrots and stuff too. He's just the ultimate tropics dude. Even all his songs are about sailing, being a pirate, or just layin around watchin the tide. He's probably the happiest guy in the world, and he doesn't need cash at all. Oh ya, his songs rock the casbah too. His lyrics are uplifting, comical, and real.

       Ratings may appear skewed, because all of these factors are considered when i give my marks:
Longevity, Lyrical meaning, Individual members' talent, Instrumental talent, Vocals, Coolness, Melody/Harmony, Humor, wether or not the band has a number in its name, Originality, singalong factor, *sex appeal, ^wether or not they were shot by gangstas, etc...

*Rankings are not based on my personal feelings on the band/artist. for example, i don't like JimmyHendrix, but i gave him a good grade. Furthermore, i HATE Incubus but i gave them a C+ so Richard won't attack me.
