Skilled Labor

Less than one to two hours drive from the Park is an existing "catchment area" of skilled labor, which could be drawn from over 100 colleges and universities--not including those in Metro Manila--located within the Province of Nueva Ecija and the neighboring provinces of Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga and Bulacan. Within these five (5) provinces comprising the Park's initial "catchment area" of skilled labor, there are over 120,000 students enrolled in college and over 20,000 students graduating each year with a four-year college degree. The following tables illustrate a subset of the colleges and universities within the existing "catchment area" by province.

Thus, from a selection of only 17 colleges and universities within the five provinces, the best of over 14,000 college graduates every year could be recruited for employment at the Park. This figure is easily doubled if college graduates from Metro Manila are considered. Further, the Park is envisioned to develop its own "catchment area" of skilled labor by way of educational locators or the establishment of a major university.
