The launch of the Skins
was held yesterday at the Sydney Aquatic Center with legendary swimmer Janet Evans present.
An Aussie contingent of Elka Graham, Jim Piper,Phil Rogers and up-and-coming rookie Jessica Abbott
were also present, As well as a video hook-up from Washington D.C with Ed Moses.
While in Sydney Evans will be the United States out of pool captain at the Skins.
Jessica Abbot spoke of competing in this
years Skins - "To swim in the Skins is such a buzz, to be at the launch is just as exciting and then to meet Janet Evans, what a blast."
Giaan will swim in the 4 x 50m backstroke along with Australian backstroke champion Clementine Stoney, Kelly Tucker, Hanna McLean of NZ and another competitor
who is yet to be announced.
The Mens Breaststroke is a star-studded field, and the presence of Lindsay Benko will also make competition
fierce.
