United States swimmer
Lindsay Benko has sent a message to her rivals after the recent FINA
World Cup in Rio.
Her time of 1:57.54 in the 200m Freestyle earned her the Gold with the 2nd placed
swimmer,Charlene Wittstock RSA, recording a time of 2:01.23. Benko also won Gold
in the 200m Backstroke (2:08.42) and in the 400m Freestyle (4:07.84) was a whopping 5 seconds
in front of her nearest rival, Yana Klochkova. To top off a very successful meet, Lindsay also placed 2nd in the
100m Freestyle (54.88).
At the Skins Benko is
confirmed to be swimming the innovative 3x100m Freestyle, which includes Australia's World number 1 Elka Graham.
(from what I have read, Giaan hasn't been mentioned as a competitor in this race - but
it doesn't mean she isn't swimming in it, as I by no means know everything!.)
The 2001 QANTAS Skins will be launched at the
Sydney Aquatic Centre this Thursday the 22nd of November.
Yesterday when first writing this, I refered to Elka Graham as a former World number 1, she is number 1
