Yes I know I am slow about updating when I get a call from my friend from college asking when I am going to update the pictures because he wants to see more of them ;) I guess between working and trying to cram in that extra hour or two of sleep, I have neglected the page a bit. Im slowly teaching Genia some of the computer wisdom, so hopefully between the two of us we can pull of getting this thing more current as things go along. We also worry that we are that couple that pesters the rest of the family with all the attention we throw at our baby. For us, though he occupies every moment that we have, so we are going to share as much of it as we can (dont you love the digital age?) Unfortunately Genia wont let me share the dirty diapers or the eye boogers yet, but fear not.. I will sneak them in your mailboxes!!! Enjoy the new pictures (the blue link that says APR 13 above)
I guess I haven't been updating too well as of late. I have been a bit bit busy as you could probably guess. Everything is going very well, however. The baby is on a pretty much 3 hour cycle of eating/sleeping. Thats nice because it makes things really predictable, but hard because its not much sleep for an adult to live on. Genia is perfect, though, she has been more than helpful in letting me sleep at night for work, and I try to help out by taking care of him when I get home so she can get some rest time without worrying about him. After being born, babies lose 3-4 oz's of their weight, so he went from 8lb8oz to 8,5 but at his one week appointment he was already up to 8,12 so he's growing at an astounding rate. If you notice in the pictures he already has sideburns, lol. So like his dad he will most likely be a furrball. Genia will be going back to work the weekend after the 11th, so she is recovering very very well. Hopefully when she starts working nights I can break his habit of sleeping in the bed, and getting attention every single time he makes a sound. Genia spoils him :) Almost as much as she spoils me. Ok Off I Go! Have to try to fix the computer that is sitting here.
Hello people! Christmas is over and the tree is packed away. Thank you all for your gifts, and once again I apologize for not getting more pictures of Genia on the Page, but she refuses to let me take any of her and post them :( . Thank you all for your gifts and warm wishes! We had a very good Christmas even though she had to work that night and I had to work Christmas Eve. We still found time to make it a very happy holiday.
Up coming events are that we are getting the Air Conditioner fixed in the Durango this weekend (thank you Chris) and put down the deposit on our apartment we are moving into in Feb. Stepping from our 2 bed 2 bath on 3rd floor to a 1st floor 3 bed 2 bath, so that should make it easier for her and the baby, as well as still leave me a room for the critters. The ferret and cat have started becoming more of friends, and the turtles have now begun to eat feeder fish, so the whole family is growing ;) (although the big turtle ate one of the snails that clean the tank so Im not too happy with him)
We are also getting more into planning the wedding/honeymoon adventure. Most likely we will be heading out to Vail, CO and playing in the snow :) Dogsledding, snowmobiling, snuggling by a fire, and tracking grizzly bears only armed with a bowie knife and a blow-dart gun.... Still trying to talk her into the last part, but we will see *wink*

I have to get with Genia to come up with a better background than just the cyan, but that will come soon. Im going to try to update once a week and hopefully keep you guys informed as to how things are going.
Currently we are gearing up for Christmas, grabbing the last few gifts, and trying to spend a little more time together. My company changed offices, and in the process found a way to REALLY mess up our computer network, so I have had to spend a lot more time keeping the system alive and it hasn't been fun. We also opened a new division in Ft Lauderdale and sent the entire office staff down there to get it up and running which puts me and Ryan as the office managers (more stress, same pay) Hopefully in a week everything with that will be over, though. Genia is trying to pick up a second job so she's not as bored at the house while I work so much, and she is actually warming up to a pet! We got a cat, and we named her Marble (after a cat my sister owned that could be her twin), but we are pretty sure it thinks it's name is "NO, DONT JUMP THERE!" It has co-dependency issues and cannot be away from one of us for longer than 10 minutes, but I think the lovingness of the critter is what has broken Genia's hatred of pets down. Like my sister says "Pets are the children that never grow up". Anyhow, we love you guys and will talk to you soon!
