Personal Wedding Pages that I love
- Trystan
& Thomas' Wedding: Yes, they had a "goth" wedding, complete
with the bride wearing black... But their site thoroughly documents
every aspect of their wedding, something I would like to do for Gabe
and Chuck. The added draw of this site is that Trystan and Thomas did
a lot of things by hand via Michael's Crafts, thus saving costs and making
things that much more meaningful all at once. Grab ideas from them...
- Brent and Laura: Great wedding site... Full
of information and details. Check out their program- their program
is my "dream" program. Laura did a lot of the planning herself and
this is a great site.
- Sine
& Louis: This was one of the first personal wedding websites
I came across, years ago, and one that I continue to visit. They have
a great design and it's filled with information and details... And they
also did a lot of stuff themselves - the invites, programs, etc.
- Chris and
Renae: While there isn't much information here, I love this site
design.
- Mike and Jen: Another site with limited information,
but a great design. Check out thier invitation to see a great example
of what you can do by making the invitations yourself. They also have
some great tips on the drop-down menu tips page.
- Brian and Delara:
One of the first personal wedding websites I ever visited. Not much information,
but they are such a cute couple, I had to include them.
- Rob and Michele:
Amazingly thorough site. Well worth a visit, especially to see their
pictures. They're photographer did an amazing job and I recommend viewing
the pictures and adding them to your must-take shot list. Here are some of
my favorite pages within thier site:
- Luke and Stefanie: This is the site that made me
realize I could do some spectacular things without relying on vendors. Their
program and bridal party newsletter blew me away. This is a fantastic layout
as well. Some things to check out:
- Programs- click on each page of it to see the full thing.
I love this program- and I mean love it, with all the information they included,
such as 'on this date', etc.
- Bridesmaid Newsletter
- SonicDesign: Stefanie started her own design site and
its full of examples of invitations, programs, labels, etc. Check the site
out to get ideas of how many things are possible with a little know-how of
graphic design
