| I, Moaning Myrtle: Webmistress At Large, receive lots of emails from my fans asking me questions about myself and my site, so I have decided to take this opportunity to list some of the questions and their answers just in case anyone else wanted to ask me that particular question. | 1. Why do you dislike Percy Weasley so much and are predicting his demise? Myrtle finds Percy Weasley to be a very rude individual and does not like him. As for the prediction, like I keep telling you, I'm a bored ghost who haunts a toilet, I have no life, therefore enjoy making up rumours. The reliability of the rumours is questionable. 2. Myrtle, because you are so wonderful, can you give me some tips for my own site? Yes, Myrtle can do this, as long as you return the favour by linking my site up to yours. 3. Why do you refer to yourself as Myrtle instead of saying I? Myrtle likes hearing, or reading as the case may be, her own name. Myrtle also feels the need to continaully remind visitors to her toilet of her name in case they forget and try to throw something at her, just coz she's got glasses. 4. Why do you make every page have a different coloured background? I find things hard to read. Well it seems the tables have turned my friend, perhaps you need glasses, then you wouldn't be able to insult Myrtle. In actual answer to your question, I like the differnt backgrounds, they make the toilet more interesting and colourful. 5. Will you link your site with mine? The answer to this question is always yes, unless you insult Myrtle, then I will have to say no and torture you forever. 6. I want to write you a story but I don't think I'm very good. Can you help me? Myrtle loves receiving fan fiction stories all the time. If you require help I can give you some feedback before the story is posted so as you are not stressed about its quality. Just bear in mind, Myrtle does not care what your story is like, its the thought that counts, much like those bad Christmas presents from old relatives who don't know what to get you. 7. Are you a genius? Yes. 8. Why don't you update your site on a regular basis? Myrtle needs a burst of creativity before the site can be truly updated. And Snape keeps getting in here and messing things up so I need to clean the toilet before I can update it. 9. How do I email you fan fic? Write it and send to [email protected] 10. Why do you insist on haunting toilets and perving on prefects? Because it's fun!!!! 11. How did you feel about Shirley Henderson playing you in the movie? Myrtle had no objections whatsoever about being played by Shirley Henderson. I think she did a really terrific job especially in relation to my favourite line: "Harry, if you die down there, you're welcome to share my toilet!" 12. Wood is good, but what about Malfoy. Why won't you make a shrine to him? I will not, EVER, make a shrine to Malfoy. He is a horrid Slytherin boy looking for any excuse to destroy the world and Harry. Ruhude if you ask me. No I will not make a shrine to him. 13. What house was Myrtle in? Since the memories of my time at school were far too traumatic, I have repressed the memory of what house I was in and therefore cannot tell you. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm trying to live in the present not the past. 14. Who do you dislike more, Percy or Draco? Tough question, tough question. But, in loyalty to the side of good and the dear Prince Harry, I would have to say Draco because he is an evil git. 15. I received full marks in your quiz, can you make it harder? Yes, in due time. Myrtle has had a lot of emails about this and is working on something super-hard. 16. When you launch your singing career, may we stalk you for your autograph? Yes, although I may have trouble holding the pen as I am transparent 17. Why are you so attached to Harry? Well duh, have you seen the guy?! In other, non-superficial ways I, Moaning Myrtle am attached to Harry because he visits me, he is kind, sweet, goodlooking, brave, noble, looks good in the bathtub. I think Myrtle should stop with the reasons now, I could go on forever. 18. In response to the "Help Myrtle" campaign I would like to offer you my opinion, "If this would help Myrtle I would like to say that Myrtle is my absolute fave HP character (no lies she really is)" I know that this really isn't a FAQ, but I really needed to thank this person!!! You have taken a step in the right direction, having Myrtle as your ally is better than Myrtle as your foe! Thank you thank you thank you thank you! 19. Why haven't you updated your site, it's been ages!!! Yes, Myrtle knows it, she's been terrible but maintaining a site full of creative material like this is hard work. I need scores of time in order to come up with the best parts of the site and quite frankly, at the moment I lack scores of time. I'm trying my best. |
