Something old � something new � something borrowed � something blue.
With this old adage in mind I assembled the material for my sixth album �A Fistful Of Smoke And A Pocketful Of Promises�.

Something old�
To create the strongest album to date, and a perfect introduction to the un-initiated, I turned to my first two CDs. Both of which are in very limited supply. Three showcase songs in danger of becoming �lost classics�; �Escape From The Ant Farm�, �Midnight Carrousel�, and �Saint George And The Dragon� were my obvious choice for inclusion on the disc.

Something new�
The 10 new songs reinforce an early commitment to exploration, evolution, and expanding the boundaries of progressive rock to create a voice that is identifiably Ghosts Of Pompeii. Spend an evening in a 50s� smoke filled coffeehouse, �Beatniks and Bohemians� - or encounter the spirit of an ancient Egyptian Queen, �Temple Of Hatshepsut�.

Something borrowed�
It has been said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Bernard Herrmann, composer to countless film scores was the inspiration for my haunting composition, �In The Footsteps Of Ghosts � Part 1 & 2�. Something blue�
