PERSONALITIES

Khan Bjorn Jorgensson

Bred in a MechWarrior sibko, the man who would become our Khan failed his initial Trial of Position.  Tests showed aptitude for aerospace piloting, and so he was transferred to that division according to Ghost Bear custom for trueborns.  He passed his second Trial of Position with flair, scoring three kills and earning the rank of Star Captain.  An exceptional pilot, he is also a skilled field commander, thanks in part to his early training as a MechWarrior, which gives him a better understanding of all the forces under his command.  Bjorn served with distinction in the 140th Striker Cluster during the first waves of the Inner Sphere Invasion; he earned the rank of Star Colonel shortly before becoming Khan.

Khan Jorgensson is large and muscular, especially when compared to pilots from other Clans, and is said to pilot a Kirghiz because it is the only fighter large enough to accommodate him.  He is generally soft-spoken, letting saKhan Kabrinski do most of the aggressive talking in the Council.  The saKhan often takes the role of field commander, leaving Jorgensson to act as a strategist.

saKhan Aletha Kabrinski

Aletha Kabrinski is an agressive light 'Mech pilot who has never let a lackluster posting get in the way of her meteoric rise to command.  She prefers the speed and agility of the Fire Moth to the sheer firepower of other designs.  Originally somewhat Crusader in her views, she has become a conservative Warden since Tukayyid.  However, she remains aggressive, making her the perfect foil to the staid Jorgensson in the Grand Council.  She is also a natural tactician and a highly skilled MechWarrior.  Some say she must have Goliath Scorpion blood in her somewhere, for she revels in the "skillful kill" so much prized by that Clan.

Loremaster Laurie Tseng
The commander of Beta Galaxy, Laurie is more typical of a Ghost Bear warrior than either of her ristar Khans.  Earning only a single kill in her initial Trial of Position, she worked her way up to Galaxy command through slow and steady advancement.  She is the oldest Ghost Bear MechWarrior in front-line duty, but shows no signs of retiring to the solahma ranks any time soon.  Laurie is a shrewd strategist and an able pilot, though some question her field command abilities.  She served as Loremaster throughout Operation Revival and the Great Refusal, and so possesses valuable insight into the Inner Sphere and the Ghost Bears' interaction with it.  It is widely expected that when Kael Pershaw finally gives up his tenuous grip on life, Laurie Tseng will succeed him as the next Loremaster of the Clans.

Star Colonel Ragnar (Magnusson)
The man formerly known as Ragnar Magnusson, son of Elected Prince Haakon Magnusson of the Free Rasalhague Republic, was captured as a bondsman from the Wolves (in Exile) during a Wolf raid on the planet Utrecht.  He possesses a useful insight into the hearts and minds of the people of Rasalhague.  Since his capture, his return to warrior status has been outstandingly fast, thanks to his impressive skills as a MechWarrior and a wisdom beyond his years.  He has served as an advisor to Ulric Kerensky, Phelan Kell, Anastasius Focht and Victor Steiner-Davion.  He now serves the Ghost Bear Khans as an advisor regarding the captured people of Rasalhague and as Star Colonel of Alpha Galaxy's First Rasalhague Bears Cluster.
