To Thomas

This poem is dedicated to my first love.

To Thomas, my dark, mysterious friend,
'T is a pity our love ever had to end.
I, so fragile, so alone in my life,
You, so perfect, relief to my strife.
With dark silky hair and translucent green eyes,
You came from the night, you were truth to the lies.

My darling, sweet Thomas, my savior in black,
You gave, and you gave, and you never took back.
You rescued me from the depths of my mind.
My sensitive darling, with a heart sweet and kind.
And my darling, sweet Thomas, wherever you're at,
I miss you my darling, my love and my cat.
