Release Me
He said that beauty's on the inside,
"Happily ever after" is a contradiction in terms,
My fairy tale isn't nearly that happy.
To me happiness, love, and beauty are like germs.
They just make me feel crappy.
I wish I was thin enough to be good.
Then maybe I might be worthy of love.
My only tangible enemy is food.
So I eat like a bird, I'm just like a dove...
I wish I could get rid of my scars,
Get rid of them and stop making new ones.
Because they look just like prison bars,
And they remind me of the things that I've done.
So now I'm down apon my knees,
Praying to God with all my might.
Praying for a miracle, oh please,
Release me from my pain tonight.
