Friday night,
And he's all alone.
Waiting for,
Her to come back to him.
She's not coming tonight,
And he doesn't know why he waits,
This girl's gone on to a better place.
But why did she have to go there alone?
He hopes he wasn't to painful,
He hopes the blood didn't go for to long.
Maybe she went to sleep after she was finished,
And she'll never wake again.
But why couldn't she just stay for him?
He just loves her to much,
To much to ignore why she left.
And that's why, he has to die.
He shouldn't have kissed the other girl,
He shouldn't have left her all alone.
Without him she'd still be there,
She'd still be keeping someone happy.
Why did he leave her?
Why did she leave him?
To many unanswered questions,
Not enough answers to go around.
By gunshot or pill?
She loved him.
Like nobody else ever had or will.
Maybe by blade, like she went.
He should have protected her more.
He shouldn't have destroyed her that way.
He would die, so she might live.
Even though it was already to late.
It was one fateful Friday,
When they found them both dead.
One fateful Friday,
Her once again in his arms,
Two polished wood caskets,
Both representing the same shattered dreams,
Crushed hopes and broken promises.
One fateful Friday...
