| Don't know much about Ghost? Well, here's the page you want. I'm hoping to have more info then the other million Yugioh pages out there that repeat the same things over and over. However, incase there are any people visiting who are really lost, I'll include the basics too. Technical Stuff- Japanese Name- Ghost Kotsuzuka English Name- Bonz Age- Unknown, though about 13 or so Appearance- Blue hair on it's ends, black-dot eyes, face looks sunken in Favorite cards- Zombie/Ghost/Undead Battle City Rating- Japanese- Level five/English- Three stars Rarest Card- Cry of Living Dead/Call of the Haunted (magic card) Episodes Featured- 17- Fear! Cry of Living Dead! (English 15- Arena of Lost Souls 1) 18- Sheild in the Right Hand, Sword in the Left Hand (English 16- Arena of Lost Souls 2) 79- Ghost Deck vs Occult Deck (English- Shadow of a Duel) (reviews coming soon) Ghost is usually considered to be "Keith's groupie" or "That weirdo Bakura killed". But we at I'm With You know better. Ghost is actually a talented duelist, earning a level five rating in Battle City; the lowest you can have to get in is five, eight being the highest. In the English dub he's even better, getting three stars out of five which is the same as Ryuzaki Dinosaur/Rex Raptor, who was good enough to get second place in the tournament at the beginnning of the series. But there's a universal rule in Yugioh that Jounouchi has to win against every minor character, Ghost included. And Bakura is, well, he's Bakura. "But didn't Keith have to tell him all his moves?" In the first two episodes Ghost is in, yes, Keith tells him what to do. And he loses, resulting in Keith beating him up. But could Ghost have won on his own? Probably not (it was against Jounouchi, king of dumb luck) but he would have done just as well as everyone else has. However, in the battle against Bakura, Ghost fairs quite well, even though he loses and Bakura makes the ground open up and swallow Ghost along with Sid and Zygor. But if you watch the sugar-coated dub, fear not! Bonz lives! That's right, Ghost's dub counterpart is sent to the Shadow Realm until Yami Bakura feels like letting him free. Sure, it'll never happen, but this makes it easier for fanfiction writers! ^.^ Interactions- Sid and Zygor- These are the other two guys with Ghost in the episodes he's in. They also have a level five/three star rating, though you don't actually get to see them duel. Sid has the redish hair, while Zygor has blackish hair. Keith- You kind of get the impression that Ghost hero-worships him. (Or has a crush on him, but I'll leave that for the couples page) But Keith doesn't seem to care much about him, since he steals his starchips and then beats the crap out of him. Jounouchi- Hmph. Jounouchi makes fun of Ghost most of their duel, and doesn't really care for Ghost. Too bad for him! Bakura- As much as I like him, Bakura is insane. He kills Ghost. That should answer any questions. Card Info- He has the powerful contiuous magic card, Cry of Living Dead/Call of the Haunted. It brings back monsters that were sent to the graveyard as zombies. Others coming soon. Dungeon Dice Monsters Info- Here's what the GBA game has to say about Ghost/Bonz: A boy who commands a team of horrifying ghosts. His monsters make plants wither, and rot the ground beneath them. (more coming soon) The Sacred Cards Info- In the GBA game, The Sacred Cards, you walk around Battle City in an RPG setting. Ghost is the first and easiest person to get a locator card from. In fact, in the booklet that the game comes with, he's listed as a main character! Here's what it says- Bonz- Bonz is a lot like the Ghost Deck he uses. He shuns the sunlight and prefers to stay in dark places like the cemetary. Duel him first, I don't see how you could possibly lose. He's so easy to beat, it's painful. For your viewing pleasure, here's everything he says to you! Well, that I found at least. Before the tournament starts and you talk- "Hihihi, this Tournament, I'll show them... I'll keep winning and humiliate everyone... My ghost deck will spell doom to there hopes." Then challenge him for the first time- "Hihihi I hate bright places like this. I'll be waiting for you someplace dark... Until then..." Try again before the tournament and hear- "What? What do you want? If you don't want anything, you're in the way!" Defeat his cronies than go to the graveyard to fight- "Hihihi... You wanted to duel with me? I never turn down anyone's challenge. You look weak enough too. But on one condition. We duel for locator cards. Your locator card is as good as mine. Hihihi..." In between turns- ""Hihihi... My turn." And after you beat him- "It's my loss... The ultimate Ghost deck was laid to rest... I rise to duel again. I'll duel, even though I've lost my locator card... Ghosts can't die because they're already dead..." Manga Info- Ghost appears in volumes 11 and 23 of the manga. Take note that these are Japanese volume numbers. I now own both volumes, and I might be able to get some scans, though he looks practially the same. The duel in volume 11 also goes the same way for the most part, but when Ghost loses, Keith beats him up a lot more... In volume 23, he's only on pages 106 and 107. You get to see him by himself in time to lose to Bakura. I can't read the books (except for Ghost's name) so I'm not sure if he's dead or passed out in the end... *sigh* Keep checking back for more info! |
