Here's some links to IBM support that you can get the necessary files from. You need to download the ServeRaid Configuration utility, download into diskette and boot up to get to the server RAID configuration program. I've also included some links on how/what the configuration program works. Hope these help.

Procedure to create logical drive

1 Boot Up IBM 330 server

You need a DOS boot diskette to achieve this. This can be obtain by going to IBM site ftp://ftp.pc.ibm.com/pub/pccbbs/pc_servers/49p3264.exe ( IBM ServeRAID Support for DOS version 4.84)

2 After booting server 330 with the above diskette, you create the logical with the following command

rem 2 drives array raidlevel 0 with hardisk at scsi ID 0 & scsi ID 1 and raid controller scsi 7

ipssend create 1 logicaldrive newarray max 0 1 0 1 1 noprompt

OR

rem one drive array raidlevel 0 is at scsi 1 and raid controller scsi 7

ipssend create 1 logicaldrive newarray max 0 1 1 noprompt

3 Next you can configure the server to boot up using CDrom. Follow the on-screen message and watch for "control I" message. This is the mini configuration menu.

4 Follow the instructions and you will be able to install the desire OS from the Bootable CD.
