Chapter 11

A knock on the door interrupted Brenda's thoughts of what the evening would hold. She rushes to the door and smiles as Sonny picks her up and swings her around, kissing her passionately.

After kissing many moments they finally pulled away breathless. Brenda smiles and gently wipes her lipstick off his mouth.

"Not that I'm complaining, but...Mmm... what was that for?"

Sonny smiles and gently runs his thumbs over here swollen lips,

"Do I have to have a reason to kiss the woman that I love?"

Brenda smiles as she slight blushes at Sonny's words. She liked be known as that, the woman that Sonny loves.

"Of course not...."

She moved even closer to him and put her hands on his neck.

"But that was more than just a kiss, you and I both know that."

Sonny notices her blushing and can't help but smile, he loved how he could make her blush, by just staring at her. He moves closer to her and they meet each other in a passionate kiss. Things start to intensify and Sonny breaks away. As much as he wants to make love with her, right there on the floor, he couldn't do that, he had come to speak to her about something that he wanted more than anything. He takes her face in his hands and looks deeply into her eyes. She moves in to kiss him again, but he stops her as he begins to speak,

"Sweetheart, I need to talk to you about something. This is something that I've been thinking about and I'm hoping that you'll feel the same way."

"Honey, you can talk to me about anything. I'm always here for you."

Brenda notices his slight apprehension almost nervousness. She runs her hand down his cheek and smiles.

"I love you Sonny. We've only known each other for a short while but I've fallen in love with you and I'm sure whatever it is I'll feel the same way."

Sonny sighs nervously, knowing that he had to say this now, if he was going to say it, there would never be a better moment. He takes her hand in his and looks into her eyes yet again.

"Remember when we were saying that we always wanted children?" Brenda nods her head.

"Well the only woman I would ever want to be the mother of my child is standing right across from me. Please be the mother of my children...Brenda..." He gets on his knees and tears start to form in Brenda's eyes as she realizes what he is about to do.

" I love you...Will you marry me?"

Brenda's other hand shakily comes up to her mouth. She looks down at Sonny not actually believing what she's just heard. A second later a beautiful smile appears on her face. She looks right in Sonny's eyes.

"Yes.. Yes, Sonny I'll marry you."

Sonny gets off of his knees and as he stands up he lifts Brenda off the ground and spins her around, they are laughing and crying at the same time. As he finally puts her down and looks at her finger, a troubled look appears on his face,

"Shit...I forgot your ring...I mean I have your ring, I just forgot to bring it with me."

Brenda can't help but laugh as he continues to freak out.

SnBforever1: "Sonny." "Sonny..Baby, it's okay really." "I mean sure the ring is great, but c'mere."

She pulls him toward her, leans in and kisses him with all the love she's ever felt for him."

"I love you Mr.Corinthos."

She continues to kiss him but finally pulls away regretfully.

"I'd really love to continue this. God knows how much I want you right now, but I'm afraid we wouldn't make it to the formal."

Sonny gets a slightly disappointed look on his face,

"Come on honey, can't we just do it one time?" A knowing smile suddenly appears on his face,

"Of course with us, we can never keep it at just one time." He looks down at his watch and knows that she is right. It was already four thirty and dinner was to begin at six thirty, that only left two hours to get ready. He kisses her one last time and heads back to his cabin to get ready.

Once Sonny leaves, Brenda jumps up and down and flops down on her bed. She stares up at the ceiling then pinches herself to make sure she hadn't just dreamed it all up. Nope, that definitely hurt so it couldn't have been a dream. She's getting married. She's marrying Sonny Corinthos. Brenda Corinthos...Mrs. Sonny Corinthos...Mrs. Brenda Corinthos. Any way she said it, it sounded perfect. She finally gets up off her bed to begin dressing for what she knew was going to be the most wonderful night of her life.

Stepping out of the shower, Sonny begins to sing Chapel of Love. He was happy, he was very happy, for Sonny Corinthos was never one to sing. he was going to make Brenda Barrett his wife and they would live happily ever, just like in a fairy tale.

Brenda's putting the finishing touches on her make-up when there is a slight knock on her door. She instantly knows that it's Sonny and she can't help but smile. She walks over to the door and opens is slowly. Once the door is completely open, she puts her hands up and spins all the way around so Sonny gets a good look at her.

"You like?"

Sonny grins,

"Do I like? Baby I love..."

Brenda laughs as their lips meet in a passionate kiss.

They head out the door, with Sonny opening the door for her, like a perfect gentleman. As they walk into the dining room, they take in the romantic atmosphere of couples in love swaying to the music. They immediately find themselves drawn to the dance floor.

Brenda relaxes into Sonny's embrace. It just feels perfect, like they were meant to fit together. A few weeks ago, if you would have told her she would meet the most wonderful, loving, caring guy she would have told you, you were crazy. But now, she can think of no other place she would rather be and no other person she would rather be with. She picks her head up off Sonny's shoulder and looks up at him.

"You've made me so happy Sonny. Happier than I've ever been."

Sonny gives her the most tender, warm smile that he has ever given anybody in his life.

"I feel exactly the same way." She rests her head on his shoulder as they begin to sway to another song. Brenda looks up and can't believe her eyes as she sees Lois on the arm of Ned, wearing a dress that was very similar to hers. She glares at Lois from across the room.

Chapter 12

Brenda left Sonny's side to walk over to Lois. Her eyes wondered up and down Lois' dressed becoming more upset at every glance.

"How could you Lois?"

Lois looks at Brenda, not knowing what the hell she was talking about,

"How could I what Bren? I just walked in here on the arm of my hubby and you come screaming at me? I think the question is how could YOU?"

"How could you wear that dress after you knew I was buying this one? You knew how much I loved it so what, you didn't care? You just get this one just to show me up? I thought I knew you better than that.

"Know better? Hon I think you need to chill! And the only thing similar about this dress is the cut, they are completely different colors, so like I said, just chill out."

Sonny stares at Brenda and Lois, both of them looked alike at this moment, and it wasn't just the dress. Their hands were on their hips, their bosoms were heaving from their heavy breathing, their faces were stained pink from anger. Both of them looked like they were on fire or if they weren't on fire yet, they were about to be. He looks up at one of the cruise director and gives him a signal. The cruise director smiles and picks up a microphone, he clears his throat and when nobody will quiet down, he screams.

"Shut up!" He pauses for a moment as everybody stares at him in disbelief,

" I'm sorry, but when I ask you to be quiet I mean be quiet, not keep talking...or should I say screaming." He clears his throat,

"We have a very special guest that would like to make a special announcement."

Sonny looks at Brenda and turns her around to face him. He gets down on one knee and takes her hand in his. Brenda feels her heart melt as Sonny takes her hand and places it to his lips Now holding her hand in his, he takes a box out of his pocket and opens it up. Brenda is speechless as she looks at the ring, it was a violet color and it had many circular diamonds surrounding it, it was the ring that she had admired in the window during their adventure in Jamaica earlier that week. She has tears in her eyes, even before Sonny begins to speak.

"Sweetheart, would you do me the honor of being my wife? I can't live without you any longer, marry me tonight?"

Brenda couldn't find the words to speak. She smiled through her tears and nods her head enthusiastically. "Yes, Sonny. I'll marry you." She puts her hands on his face and brings her lips down to kiss him with all the love she has for him.

After what seems like a lifetime, Sonny breaks out of the kiss and turns to the cruise director and snaps his finger, the cruise director takes his cue and stands before them. He gets into the briefcase that he is carrying and pulls out a marriage license and the rings. He hands Sonny the rings. Lois walks over to him and takes the ring that belongs to the bride. Luke and Laura, who are across the room head towards them and Sonny takes Luke aside a little,

"You got my back Spencer?"

Luke grins,

"Ya know it Corinthos."

Brenda looks at Lois and smiles, happy that Lois still wanted to be her maid of honor, seeing that she had acted immature a few minutes ago.

She wipes away her tears and pulls Lois into a hug. "I'm sorry Lo. Would you be my maid of honor?" Lois smiles and agrees. Brenda looks back to Sonny who's standing there smiling at her. She smiles back at him feeling happier than she's ever felt. She walks over closer to him as the questions come to her mind and fly out her mouth. "How did you manage to set this all up? I mean you.. the ring? I didn't even suspect but you.. I love you so much." She kisses him and hugs him tightly.

The cruise director walks over to them and taps Sonny on the shoulder.

"Save some of that for the honeymoon."

Sonny laughs,

"Oh believe me, there's more where that came from."

Brenda laughs knowingly.

Sonny smiles as Brenda's laughter fills his ears and all of his senses.

"So Father, are you ready for the event of a lifetime?"

He laughs,

"If you only knew how many events of a lifetime I've been too...a lot of them have ended in divorce."

Brenda glares at him, not wanting to hear about that She shoots a look at Sonny who just shrugs. "Can we begin?" The priest nods and Brenda's mood softens as she reaches down to grab Sonny's hand. Her thumb rubs circles on his hand absent-mindedly as she waits for the priest to finally begin.

Lois stares at the priest as he begins to start the vows. She stops him,

"Yo wait a minute, father, what about the entrance of the brides maid and the bride? We just gonna skip that? I think not, come on Bren." She takes Brenda's hand and pulls her out of the room. Sonny and the priest stare at Lois as she drags Brenda out.

"Don't mind her, she's not always this crazy...wait... scratch that...her entire family is insane."

The priest laughs. Suddenly, "Here Comes the Bride" the bride begins to play and they wonder where it is coming from. Sonny looks over and sees one of the guest sitting at the piano. He smiles gratefully. Lois makes her entrance into the room and smiles with tears of pride in her eyes as she nears Sonny.

Tears overwhelm Brenda's eyes at Lois reaches Sonny and she knows that it is her turn. She slowly walks toward the man of her dreams preparing to spend the rest of her life with him. A brilliant smile shines on her face the closer she gets to reaching him. After what seems like forever she's standing next to Sonny looking from him to the priest.

The priest smiles at the couple. It always made him happy to see young couples, in love, so much in love that their faces gleamed. As Sonny and Brenda join hands, he begins the ceremony,

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered today for the joining of this man, and this woman in holy matrimony." He turns to Sonny.

"Michael, please repeat after me. I Michael Corinthos Jr take thee Brenda Veronica Barrett to be my lawful wedded wife. To Love Honor and cherish in sickness and health."

Sonny looks deeply into Brenda's tear stained eyes as he repeats the words. The Priest then turns to Brenda and asks her the same. Finally, they arrive at the vows. Which neither one is prepared for. They don't need words however. Brenda looks at Sonny and begins her vows of love.

"Sonny, I came on this cruise basically kicking and screaming the whole way. It was the last place I wanted to be but fate had put me here for a reason. That first night when I saw you, I knew you would play a great part in my life. I was right. You've made me happier than I ever thought possible. You've given me love that I thought I'd never deserve. You've completed me in my mind, in my body, in my soul and in my heart. My love for you is the greatest kind of love possible. It is an all-consuming love. Every time I see you my heart swells with the love I feel for you. I love you Sonny and today you've made me the happiest woman in the world and I intend to make you just as happy, every day for the rest of my life."

Sonny's eyes have tears of joy in them. He tightens his grip on Brenda's hand, almost like he needs the reassurance that she is really standing there with him and it isn't all just a dream,

"Brenda, when I came on this trip. I never expected to meet somebody that was going to make me whole again. After Lily died, I thought my entire world was at an end and that I would never be happy again. But in you, I found my true love, my soul mate. I love you, and I will spend every day for the rest of my life showing you." He mouths I love you to her. She smiles. The priest has tears in his eyes as he looks at Lois and Luke.

"The rings please...Michael place this ring on Brenda's finger and repeat after me. Brenda, please take this ring as a symbol of my love and devotion."

Sonny repeats the words and slips the ring on Brenda's hand. It is a wide band full of diamonds, it fit her engagement ring perfectly. Brenda gazes down at it with pride in her eyes. The priest asks her to repeat the same vow. She slips the gold ring that also has diamonds around it on Sonny's finger, gently taking his hand up to her lips and kissing it.

The priest smiles joyously as he informs Sonny that he can now kiss his bride. He takes her face in his hands and kisses her passionately. Brenda moans as his insistent tongue parts her lips and seeks entrance. Lois clears her throat,

"Don't forget ya not alone!"

Sonny and Brenda break apart and look at Lois. They laugh. The priest begins to speak again,

"Ladies and gentleman, I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Corinthos Junior."

Chapter 13

An hour later, everybody is gathered around the dance floor as Sonny and Brenda begin to dance. Brenda closes her eyes and gets lost in the sensual rhythym.

Brenda looks up at Sonny with tears in her eyes. Her hand caresses his cheek as she brings her mouth to his. The song fit them perfectly. He was the love of her life and she's never been this happy before.

Brenda's head is now resting on Sonny's shoulder. She sighs contentedly. Suddenly, she feels somebody tap her shoulder. Sonny smiles at Luke,

"Hey man, you got your own woman, go dance with her."

Luke laughs,

"Come on Corinthos, share the love."

Brenda has now pulled out of Sonny's embrace and is facing Luke,

"And you Mrs. Corinthos, you are an angel, well the second angel here anyway. Care to dance with this middle aged old man?"

"Luke I'd love to dance with you." Luke spins her around so that she can see Sonny while dancing with him. Brenda breaks away from looking at Sonny to look at Luke. "I just wanted to thank you for dragging Sonny on this trip. I can't imagine how my life would have been without meeting him here."

Sonny stares at his wife, wondering what she is whispering to Luke about. He is so deep into thought that he doesn't notice Lois walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder,

Lois grabs his hand and drags him on to the floor. Sonny looks over at Brenda, who is still dancing with Luke, they have their heads together and look to be enjoying their conversation, Lois smiles at him.

"Get your head out of your ass Corinthos, pay attention to me."

The song ends and Brenda makes her way back over to Sonny. "Hey baby."

She kisses him quickly yet passionately. "Why don't we cut the cake now?"

She smiles as she runs her finger over his lips then leans in to whisper in his ear.

"You think we could rush through this, cause I really wanna be alone with you?"

He grins broadly,

"Oh yeah? What do you have in mind? I don't know if I'm willing to rush this reception."

She smiles slyly back at him.

"Oh I think you know exactly what I mean, but.."

She nods her head before kissing him. She runs her hands down his chest until it comes down on his manhood. She caresses it gently.

"..if you didn't then, you do now." "So what do you say? Would you like to rush through this or drag it out?"

Sonny smiles and plays along,

"Oh gee honey I don't know...maybe I'll just have a headache."

Brenda hits him on the shoulder and rolls her eyes, she heads over to the cake, but he pulls her back before she can walk away,

"Come here you...you know I was just teasin'. I'm just as anxious as you, can't you tell?" He takes her hand and places it on his hardening erection.

She takes her hand in his and pulls him over to where the cake is waiting to be cut.

Brenda takes the knife, which has streamers on it and Sonny places his hands over hers, guiding her as she cuts the cake. When the cake is finally cut, Sonny takes a slice and shoves it in Brenda's face. He laughs, as does everybody else that is watching. Brenda has cake falling off her face. She was at the point where she couldn't wait to pay him back.

She laughs with them before whispering to him under her breath.

"Oh you'll pay for that one later."

She takes another piece of the cake and brings it up closer to his mouth. Sonny looks at her suspiciously but Brenda smiles sweetly before shoving it in his face. She tried not to laugh but just couldn't help herself.

"I hope you happy now cause you deserved it."

Sonny's face is bright red from humiliation, no woman had ever dared to throw cake in his face, the truth was people were too afraid of him to make him mad, but not Brenda...Brenda had guts. He lightens up a but and begins to smile, he nudges.

"You'll pay for that one later babe..."

Brenda laughs,

"Well I guess you can kiss the honeymoon night goodbye then."

She walks away, trying to hold back her laughter. She gave him a second to come after her. Which he does. He grabs her by the waist and spins her around. She smiles at him, he pulls her into his arms and embraces her very tightly.

"I love you."

Brenda takes her finger and takes some of the leftover cake on him and then puts her finger in her mouth seductively before pulling it back out.

"I love you too baby. Now take me outta here."

Sonny grins and gladly takes Brenda's hand, sneaking past the guests, which doesn't go un noticed by Luke.

"Where you two think you're going, don't ya know it's rude to leave your guests alone?"

He looks like he is being seriously but suddenly he bursts into laughter,

"Don't worry about it man, go make love to your wife. I'll take care of this party."

Sonny and Brenda smile at Luke and walk out of the room, heading upstairs to consummate their marriage.

It's a miracle that they even make it upstairs, for Sonny's hands were all over her as soon as they had left the reception room. He had started nibbling on her ears, her neck, any part of her that was above the neckline of her wedding dress. Sonny starts rummaging in his pocket, trying to find the card to get into their room. He starts to curse under his breath when he can't find it. Brenda reaches into his pocket and pulls it right out. She laughs at his nervousness.

"Nervous babe?"

Sonny smiles shyly and nods his head.

"I guess I'm just nervous...I know this isn't the first time for us...but it is our first time together as man and wife and I just want it to be perfect. I don't want anything to go wrong."

Brenda smiled as she looked into his eyes then ran her hand down his cheek.

"Nothing is going to go wrong tonight. It'll be magic, I promise."

Her hands ran up his chest before pushing his jacket off his shoulders.

"I love you Sonny, so much."

Sonny smiles as he opens the door. She screams out as he sweeps her up into his arms and proceeds to very lovingly carry her over the threshold. He spins her around and around in his arms, both of them giggling as they finally fall onto the bed, completely dizzy.

Brenda's lying on her back when Sonny climbs on top of her. He kisses her with undying passion. He starts to pull off her dress when Brenda stops him. He looks at her confusedly but Brenda smiles at him reassuringly.

"I have to be careful with this dress baby. I want to have to show our children one day."

Brenda stands up and unzips her dress letting it fall to the floor. She takes Sonny's hands and places them on her body.

He had always wanted a family and he definitely wanted a family with Brenda. A smile forms upon his lips. Brenda looks up at him, wondering what he's smiling about.

"Oh god baby!" Sonny screams as he thrusts harder one last time, before spilling himself inside of her. She screams out and follows his suit, releasing her sweet juices so that he is surrounded by her wetness. Sonny rolls off of her and pulls her ontop of him. Their breaths are ragged, for they are coming down from their apocalyptic lovemaking. Brenda smiles at him,

"So tell me Mr. Corinthos, what were you smiling about before."

He smiles back at her shyly,

"I was just thinking about how great it would be for us to have a few little Brenda's running around."

Brenda bursts out laughing,

"Oh really? Are you going to be the one pushing them out?"

" It won't be so bad."
