Can Alexis Help Sonny?

It's a busy week for Port Charles most popular legal eagle. First Alexis must ride to the rescue of a loved one on Wednesday February 6th, but will she get there in time? And what will be the consequences when on Monday, February 11th, Sonny once again decides he knows best, opting to ignore the sound advice Alexis offers him? What will Elizabeth say when asked to testify about exactly what she remembers of the accident which nearly claimed her life? Could the truth about Gia's involvement be revealed on Wednesday, February 13th? If Luke is back in town, can trouble be far behind? The wanderer begins to fear that his future is in jeopardy on Friday, February 15th.

Determined to make Jax hers, Skye tries a new tactic--honesty!!!

Truth or Consequences

After Jax asks her point blank whether Sonny ever really threatened her, Skye reveals that, well, no, he didn't. In fact, she adds, she made up the story in an attempt to bond with her crush. Alas, her attempt at coming clean does not have the effect that she hped for.----Jax remains less convinced than ever that she is sincere. "Jax is on to her but he finds himself more and more intrigued by her---in other words, she might drive you crazy, but without her, your life is boring" states MCT. Robin Christopher adds that her imaginative alter ego is using her and Jax's mutual hated of Sonny as a way of winning his love. Sonny deserves anything he gets, to Skye he represents all the male issues she has in her life, concentrated into one.It's her sort of lashing out against anyone who has ever told her that she is not worth anything. To use Sonny to get Jax is almost--in her own twisted way--an honest way to get Jax. Is she can use Sonny to get Jax to know her better, she's servicing two goals, with one effort.

Truth or Dare

Later AJ suggests to his desperate half sister that she kick her scheme up a notch by admitting to Jax that she loves him. Needless to say, that idea panics Skye to no end. However, she later approaches Jax and informs him that she has a confession to make.
"I got those scenes and as I was reading them, I got nervous", recalls Christopher. "She's going to go there" Oh Boy. The way they're written it is like when you tell somebody the truth, but almost mockingly so, that the person doesn't know whether to believe you or not. But it is hard because there's that major kernel of truth there. Since lying and manipulating always have worked for Skye in the past, her failure thus far to win Jax has been driving her nuts---and pushing her to put herself on the line in ways that she has never dared to. "She's almost at her wits, end, that's how much she is drawn to Jax" says Robin. "He's like no other man she has known. She wants him so badly that she feels like she has to pull out all the stops. She is almost on the verge of losing control. She is willing to let herself go to get him. She knows that if she gets him, it's serious.

The Truth Hurts

As Skye faces her fears, it appears even less likely that she will be able to maintain her grip. Jax's compassion throws her for such a loop that she winds up lighting into him for caring about her and making her feel that he's someone on whom she can count. Nonetheless, he reassures her that he is on her side, and that is where he intends to stay. Of course, that only flummoxes Skye more. What is she supposed to do now?

True Faith

Later at Gh Skye goes out on another limb and rips up her contract, thereby re-instating her grandfather, Edward, as CEO of ELQ. Now she feels sure that Jax will never believe that she is using him as only a means or irking Sonny. Ingo says Jax didn't trust her at the start, but he figured there had to be a sensible girl under there somewhere. He's figuring that he is giving her a chance, so when she does nasty things-he's like why are you doing that? and she says that she can't change quickly. "Jax still doesn't trust her but he is giving her the opportunity to be a better person and he does call her on things", says Ingo.

True Love

Finally Skye musters up all her reserves of courage and goes for broke with Jax--in true Skye fashion:she looks her dream man in the eye and flippantly suggest they just get it over with and sleep together! This could be the one great love of her life marvels Robin C. She's never had that. To give into somebody like that is a whole change of thinking and a new way of being for her. She is afraid of screwing up. "Skye is being very, very childish and immature" she adds, "she doesn't think things through emotionally. She goes for the immediate gratification. But there is all the nervousness building up inside her and there is all that sexual tension." Its very Skye to say "Let's do it" There would be no pretense and it would be out of the way. But after that, the very scary part begins". The question now is, will Skye get what she wants--is Jax going to surrender himself to her body and soul"?

SONNY

This week on GH, though Sonny continues to try and foster a relationship with Courtney, AJ gets the mobsters kid sister wrapped around his little finger. Could it be once again, that Sonny is going to be betrayed by someone he loves?
"AJ has a lot going on" says Mctavish. "I love seeing him coming into his own as a rascally, scoundrelly, adorable villain. He knows what he wants, and, for the first time in his life, he's playing it smart. He becomes aware, of what means something to Sonny--of course, that is Courtney--and he sets out to take it. "The battle esculates", she continues "and AJ is proving a match for Sonny". As Sonny's affection for his newly-discovered sibling grows, so does his tendency to over-protect her. And the independent young woman isn't thrilled with the leash around her neck. The tighter Sonny holds on, the more she pulls away. "this is a girl that has had a couple of big blows and isn't sure she can trust", says McT. "the trouble is, she may be trusting the most untrustworthy person on the canvas". "Part of being young is that you do things in reaction to things" she adds. "If someone is pushing you too hard one way, you may just up and go the other". "She is a very spunky girl. She is not going to let anybody, including Sonny, run her life". As a result, AJ may well wind up ruining her life. CARLY
Carly has her pick of men these days at GH--and none of them has the last name Corinthos. Jax is her business partner and Zander is her protector, but can either one make her forget Sonny?

"Carly has had to go on with her life, which is a good thing", declares her portrayer, Tamara Braun. "She wants to be independent, wants to have her own life and that is what the club is going to give her. She and Jax have found a sense of ease with each other. They can talk to each other and be up front with one another without playing games". Zanders feelings for Carly are more obvious, but she still does not have a clue. "For a smart girl, she is being a little blind", cracks Braun. "You know how it is when you have a friend of the opposite sex. You can sense their feelings but don't really pay attention because what's important is the friendship. It is very important for Carly to have a friend and she has that in Zander". Bottom line? "Carly is not ready to move on to someone else yet" states Braun. "She's matured. She has a child and yes, she still loves Sonny. She just can't be with him because he doesn't know how to forgive".

Sarah tries to reason with Lucky as he stands precariously close to the edge. News of Liz's condition ultimately gets him to come down. Sarah grows suspicious when she learns Gia never took a blood test. Nik tries to reassure Gia by informing her of his handiwork. Gia freaks when she realizes that Liz will ultimately reveal the truth upon her full recovery. Skye makes her next play. Will Jax assist her?
