Chapter 5

She looked in the mirror she was very impressed by her appearance. Her hair was lying on her back with curls and her make-up was simple but eloquent. She looked at the dress Jax had picked out of her it was red and clung to her all of her curves. She did a turn around and looked at the low scoop. It was gorgeous she turned and headed out of the bathroom to the living room. “Jax I’m…” She stopped mid sentence as she looked at him. He was sexy, wow! He was in a black tux with a white shirt and black tie. His hair was slightly spiked. He looked amazing.

He looked up and saw her standing there looking ravishing. The dress he picked out had the perfect affect. It molded to her body and showed her curves perfectly. She had done her hair down which he loved and the curls accented to her dress. Making her look even more surreal. “You look beautiful.” He walked over to her.

“I forgot what good taste you have.” She leaned up on her feet and kissed him. She could feel his arms begin to pull her towards the couch and she pushed him back. “Ah ah ah…we are going out to dinner save that for later.” She winked at him and walked in front of him making him see that there wasn’t a back to her dress. She turned her head and winked at him again. She was really excited about going out with Jax tonight she had been waiting for this day for a long time and she wasn’t going to waste time…well it wasn’t wasting time…but she wanted to be in public with her husband and declare herself his again.

He realized that she was set on going out now so he took the hint. He opened he door for her and headed to their ride.

OUTSIDE THE GRILLE

As she stepped out of the limo she was blinded by all he camera’s taking pictures. She felt a microphone get thrown into her face.

“Brenda what do you have to say? Where you kidnapped? Did Sonny keep you locked away?

“Were you hurt in any way?

“How did you make it home?

She didn’t feel like getting asked questions right now. “No Sonny had nothing to do with it.” She pushed the microphones out of her face and felt Jax come to her side.

“That’s enough. Excuse us me and my wife are going to have a quiet evening so don’t be here when we get back.” He felt more cameras’ clicking as he led her inside.

THE GRILLE

She took a sip of her wine and looked at him. “Do you know how long I have been waiting for this moment to happen? I have been dreaming about being with you forever. And now here we are…back together.”

“Yes we are. I have to ask you something Brenda.”

“Well what is it?”

“I want to know.” He paused and got off his chair and onto his knee. He pulled out a small box from his jacket. He opened the box and revealed a silver band.

She felt herself getting weak as she looked at him and then at the ring.

He pulled it out and took her left hand. “I wanted to know if you Brenda Jasper Jacks will do me the honor of marrying me.”

She stroked his face. “Yes…yes I will marry you over and over again.” She watched as he slowly placed the ring on her finger next to her other wedding ring. She leaned towards him and kissed him over and over again.

Sonny walked off the elevator and headed towards the Grille, he had a business meeting with Alexis in 10 minutes and needed to get their table set up. He turned the corner and looked up as he watched Jax kissing…Brenda? He shook his head and felt his heart begin to race faster, it couldn’t be she was dead, but his eyes weren’t deceiving him, there she was in the middle of the Grille kissing Jax passionately.

Chapter Six

She slowly pulled away and touched his face. “I can’t believe this. We are going to get married again?” She let out a little squeal as he nodded his head. She stood up along with him and hugged him with all she had in her. “I can’t wait! When are we doing this?” She let go of him and noticed someone watching her from the corner of her eye.

Sonny couldn’t believe she was alive. He hated seeing her so wrapped up with Jax. He stood there watching her smile and laugh and hanging onto his every word.

She slowly turned and saw him standing by the door watching her. She didn’t know what to do she felt sick in her stomach. She looked up at Jax who noticed him too.

Sonny made his way over. “Brenda your alive.” He went to touch her face but she flinched. “What’s wrong? Did Jax hurt you? I swear if he did I’ll take care of it Brenda.”

She felt her body go cold and her eyes filled with hatred. “No you see the whole hurting thing…you fill that department for me thanks.” She looked at Jax who was also glaring at Sonny. “You see Jax does the protecting.

Sonny could tell that she was ready to fight him. “I tried to look for you…”

“I don’t really care what you did. I’m with Jax so don’t bother to try and get me away again. I am done with all the games you want to play, I am not 17 anymore, I know what I want and whom I want. So don’t make it harder on yourself.” She put her arm around Jax.

Sonny watched her symbolically put her arm around Jax. “I just wanted to tell you I am glad you are back and safe.” He saw Alexis walk in. “Excuse me.” He winked at the two.

She truly hated him. With her time away from the two she had really a lot of time to think about everything that had happened in her life. Including the men in it she had slowly looked at the way her and Sonny were. As much as she thought she loved Sonny she had realized that it wasn’t real and pure love. Love doesn’t hurt and her and Sonny had hurt each other enough to last a lifetime and they had never learned. Love trusts and Sonny didn’t trust her at all…he always thought she was betraying him. The list was long and she knew that she couldn’t let Sonny get near her. And she decided when she got back that she would make that clear. As for Jax he did trust her and they didn’t each other and if they did they wouldn’t make the same mistake over and over again. Their love for each other was pure and real.

He couldn’t believe that she had just told Sonny off like that. He looked down at her. “You all right?”

“I’m better then all right. I know for the first time what I really and truly want…and that is you. And like I said before nothing will change that. Not what Sonny thinks or anyone else.”

SONNY’S TABLE

“Will you quit looking at her. If you want to just stare I do have better things I could be doing.” She looked at him

“I’m…I’m sorry what were we talking about? You know how much I loved her. I want her back.” He rubbed his face.

“It isn’t going to happen especially since she made herself clear she doesn’t want you. Hers and Jax’s love is strong…because you don’t want to admit it. Isn’t my fault? Listen I am leaving. Sign these papers and have them to me by tomorrow. Good night Sonny.” She stood up and walked over to Jax. “Hello Jax.” She turned and looked at Brenda. “Brenda.” She smiled at her.

She looked up. “Oh Hi.” She smiled back

“Its really great to see you two together. Have a wonderful night.”

“Thanks Alexis you too.” He nodded as she walked away. He looked back at Sonny he wasn’t taking his eyes of her. “So what do you want to do now?

“I want to dance with my husband.”

“I can arrange that.” He winked at her and grabbed her hand

Chapter Seven

The two slowly began to dance. Both wrapped up in each other. As the song began they both closed their eyes and allowed the memories to flood through.

He remembered how she would always make him see the positive in everything. The smiled that she would do, or the way when he bought her something she was like a little kid. She had always brought a smile to his face. All the dreams and love they had shared. She was everything to him

She remembered all the times that Jax had come to her rescue. She remembered him finding her standing outside in the rain just after Sonny had broken her heart. He had made all the pain and hurt go away. And he loved her and at that moment she realized that he was the one.

He remembered when he took her to Malibu so she could have some rest and relaxation. She was so happy and he was so happy. She really made him feel something again. He remembered when Miranda came back in town…she had fought for him with everything she had in her. She was a fighter and he knew it.

She remembered all the times that Jax had lifted her up and taken her places to regain what she had lost. All the times he had been patient and loving with her. And she knew that she often didn’t deserve it but that never stopped him. He was always there for her. Even when she was just playing games he was there for…her.

He smiled as he remembered her making smoores for him in the cabin. She was adorable and it was honestly the only thing that she knew how to cook.

She couldn’t believe that they were going to get married again. And she knew this time it was real this time she wasn’t going to get lost or anything. She was there and nothing was going to change that.

He remembered their wedding on the yacht just the two of them. She was so gentle and loving with everything that she did.

They both opened their eyes and gazed at each other. “I love you.” They both leaned in and began to kiss as they finished dancing

Chapter Eight

THREE DAYS LATER

“So you mean your mom and dad are coming up? Today?” She looked shocked

“Well yah. They want to come down for the wedding but more importantly they want to see you. Lady Jane almost popped out of her body when I told her. She had to hand the phone to Dad.” He chuckled.

“That’s so sweet…but…ahh...this is horrible…alright…when is she going to be here?” She looked at her watch it was 9:00am and she was still in her Pj’s

“Oh I would have to say about now.”

Just then there was knocking on the door. Her eyes widened.

He opened the door. “Mom! Dad” He gave them both a big hug.

Lady Jane took a step inside and saw her standing there smiling…her daughter in law. “Oh you look beautiful Brenda.” She opened her arms and she walked into her embrace.

“Thank you. It’s so good to see you again. How have you been?”

“Forget me…how have YOU been?”

“Better now that I am with Jax again.”

“OH I am sure he feels the same way. He just wasn’t himself without you around.” She smiled at her and then Jax.

“Well enough of this chit chat let’s talk about this wedding.” He walked over to Brenda and gave her a hug “Good to see you again.” He gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Chapter Nine

She stood and looked in the full-length mirror, she was actually getting married to him again. And it felt like the first time. She looked at herself, her dress was simple yet spectacular. Her hair was up with white flowers in it.

“Are you ready?”

She turned around and saw her father in law holding out his arm. “I am beyond ready.” She smiled at him and began to walk to the door. She smiled as Louis walked ahead of her with Ned arm in arm. She could hear the music play and she looked at Jax who was smiling at her. She began to walk down the aisle never taking her eyes of Jax.

He watched her smoothly glide along towards him. He felt Ned pat him on the back. He smiled again at her…he couldn’t stop smiling. She finally made it to the end.

They both stood there not really listening to what the Pastor was saying but focusing on each other. Loving each other with their eyes.

“You may now kiss the bride.”

He lifted her veil and kissed her. He felt the kiss being returned. He slowly pulled back and looked at her. He loved her more than anything at that moment.

She smiled at him. And touched his face. “You are my everything and I love you even more for that.”
