He sat alone in his room reading Poe as he pleased,
For tomorrow would be the last day he was taunted and teased.

As the thought of making new friends danced in his head.
Little boy David entered class with a smile on his face.
The teacher would wonder "how was David solaced?"
As the teacher called out to start show and tell,
