~~~Prom 2000~~~
I think I may have scanned this picture crooked. I'm not sure. But here is pretty little Jenny in her purple prom dress. I actually felt pretty that night. Some people whine about dances, but there is just something about them that is attractive to me. I love getting dressed up and looking my best. Plus it's an excuse to get pampered.
My dashing date, Nile, and myself. We match and everything. Also, thumbs up to Nile for remembering my corsage. Also, I'm pretty sure I managed to get his boutonniere on all by myself. Yay me!
Nile looks ornery per usual. Do I look surprised? That's a negative.
Here's my Benny, and Liz, looking more like a girl than she ever has.
On the left are Kyle and Julie, on the right are Shane and Liz. Both Kyle and Shane seem a bit camera shy, but Julie and Liz are quite photogenic.
I am at a loss for words. Aren't they beautiful? The boys wouldn't dance with them though...all us girls had to join together and have some fun. Really, the boys just didn't seem into prom...
...I spoke too soon. It appears as though Nile and James were enjoying themselves--together. I never thought I would lose a guy...to another guy. They do make a handsome couple though don't they?
Never fear. I always find me a guy. Actually shortly before this picture was taken, I serenaded Benny here. I got down on my knees and sang a really great rendition of "Crazy" by Britney Spears. Am I a great girl or what? That's one of my most favorite prom memories.
I, for one, think that James should have become a cowboy instead of a Marine.
That Sarah sure is strong. The bull was a lot of work for everyone involved.
Dressed up or dressed down, they still make a cute couple.
I'm a rockstar!
A rockstar with dirty socks.
I don't know who took this picture, but isn't it cute?
Notice how I keep asking questions? What is up with that?
Prom was good.
