Our tale began when Fred scored really good tickets to a St.Louis Blues game. I was lucky to enough to have been invited and I jumped at the chance to go--mainly because I had never been to a professional hockey game before (gasp!). So, Fred, Kevin, Billy and I drove down to St.Louis.  We had dinner at Union Station and then we walked what seemed like an endless number of blocks to the Arch. That's not where the tale begins, but that covers most of it I think. By the way, if I didn't say it before or enough, thanks Fred!
Here, Billy is our fearless navigator with map in hand he directed us--right into that wall you see in front of us!

That is all I have to say about that.
So much so that he began to make Arch Angels on the grass.

mmm...Kevin loved that one.
Billy had never really seen the Arch I guess, so he was pretty intrigued by the whole experience...
This one is kinda dark, but I really like it. It's just me and my two most favorite people.

On the right you can see the boys' best attempt at being studly and acting casual while waiting for the Metrolink.  How hot are they? Pretty durn hot.
A perfect Blues fan. Doesn't he look thrilled to be there?
On the other hand, we have Mr.I came to see the Blues get squashed Avalance fan. He tried to look inconspicuous as a puckhead, but we weren't fooled.
Then of course, there was the game itself: The St.Louis Blues versus the Colorado Avalanche. It was a good game. Sadly, we witnessed one of the few losses the Blues suffered at home (one of eight). Just our luck. It was thrilling nonetheless. I had a great time. The final score was Blues 1- Avs 3.
