The waiting
It is turmoil
Unlike any
I wait for calm
Calm waits for me
I am alarmed
But I wait in silence
For my silence is my calm

I wrote this poem the same night as [I see your pain...] This poem is me waiting for Nile to call. We weren't sure if his car was going to make it home. He said he would call when he reached home. I waited for quite a while thinking that he had been stranded.
He finally did call. He arrived home without problems, lounged around and watched TV, and then remembered to call me. What a guy. (Did you hear the sarcasm?)
