Session 5: The Morning After
  • After the group's late-night encounter with the burglars, the Uthmerean authorities arrived to arrest the survivors. After the bandits were taken away,(most likely for a quick execution), the group received a letter from the White Rose Society, threatening them for their intrusion in the buisness of others. Then it blew up in their faces. The party decided to settle the cookbook issue once and for all.
  • Ivaleus led the party back to the Verdant Gnoll to try to "convince" Rufus to leave the Brimbleton's alone. At the gnoll, they met with Fredegar Hickbottom, the aging halfling who owned the Gnoll and ran it as a "used goods eporium". Claz and Ivaeleus explained to "Rufus" that they wanted the attacks on the Brimbletons to stop and were just starting to threaten them when Lanilen Galysia greeted them from the top of the second floor stairs. Lanilen, a tall, frail looking elf, explained to the party that he and his associates only knew of "Rufus" as a customer who requested a printing job a few weeks ago. The only clue that the party was left with was that the heirs to Margerite DeFoltshaine were the Brothers McCallister of Loch Durnan. The Party Decided to set out in the morning.
